Wells to Meet with Martin Today/Players Next Week

Why? For attempting to do a thorough investigation? He interviewed the players (many of whom only dragged it out more by being uncooperative, which is strange if there was nothing wrong), then interviewed the person making the allegations; and now he's going to interview some players more based on any new information received during the Martin interview. This is how these things work.

Shouldn't he have interviewed Martin first. Then everyone else? Seems a bit more efficient. No?

This is ****ing ridiculous. What the hell does he need to meet with the players again for? Enough. We're trying to make the ****ing playoffs here.

It works very conveniently during the week when Miami will be playing the Patriots....no, there's nothing shady going on.

Sorry, I don't wear tin foil caps. If they can't put their big boy pants on, be professionals, and focus on their jobs, then they don't pose much of a risk to the Pats anyways.

So you wouldn't have cared if he interviewed Martin first and then the Phins, and then Martin, and then the Phins again? Something tells me this thread would exist even if he went with that order. Interviews bring up more questions that require follow up, particularly first interviews. Again, this is how these things work.

Ted Wells interviewing Jonathan Martin today in LA, as @jameswalkernfl reports. Wells will meet next week with Dolphins players a 2nd time.

Is there any other way, that Martin and the Well's investigation can try to derail a season? No need for this.

It is time to start to question Ted Wells.[/QUOTE]

I know this is not gonna be very popular and I'm sure that Ted Wells is an honorable man of integrity, but human nature being what it is, I sure wish that a diverse committee was assigned instead of someone who may have a particular (and understandable) hot button based on some of the words that were used and who was the alleged "victim."

Oh please, like the Pats need us to be distracted to win

So far the players have seemed to rally around the locker room taking an us against the world approach. They just played probably their best game of the season so Wells has been irrelevant.
Keep winning and it will be hard to point to an alleged disgruntled , out of control looker room which was the original contention.

LMAO...so a black investigator can't do a professional investigation because the N word was used? Just stop it, if that was the case then every black player would be backing Martin instead of Richie....

I don't understand the freaking out about this, once Ross told the NFL to come in and fix his problem this thing was going to be dragged out for months, we will be lucky if we have the report by the draft....and he's getting paid by the hour

The guy must be getting paid by the hour. What a total BS waste of time.

I think Shefter is wrong. I think Incogs will be talked to again. There is no sense in backtracking to all the players. They told what they told and nothing will change and he knows that. People will stand on the record.

His revisiting tells me there is not much here that isnt already being taken care of. due diligence and yes, making more $

unsafe environment? I mean really. this is football. what kind of jury will understand any of this?

I'm still amazed at how serious the nfl/wells are taking the locker room hi jinx. If it is so horrendous , they should have had the dade county police do the investigation instead of some political parade. The nfl should be spending the money and man hours on something more deserving.

At the heart of this I still think this is basically about Martin quiting because he was demoted and then not wanting to give back any money.

I wonder if Wells took Rat Fink a pacifier for his vagina.
