Wells to Meet with Martin Today/Players Next Week

You guys like to guess. And those guesses always have the Dolphins unfairly wronged.

This is fairly basic procedure. You take statements from both sides, take some time to compare and contrast, looking for the most vital aspects and any inconsistencies or confusion, and then question both sides again, this time being a bit more forceful and probative. Wells would be violating his position and duties if he approached it any other way.

For $1600.00 an hour there would be so much confusion and inconsistencies I'd interview every body three times minimum.

This came right after Tomlin's fine. Wells says "yep, I can use an extra $100k."

Sorry, I don't wear tin foil caps. If they can't put their big boy pants on, be professionals, and focus on their jobs, then they don't pose much of a risk to the Pats anyways.

I agree that they are men, and it should not be effected, but that does not change the fact, while the Patriots will all be working hard on getting ready for Miami, an investigator will be walking around the Phin's hallways, asking questions, and getting in the heads of NFL players that will be playing their most important game the year.

Yeah right, if the Fins lose to the Patriots the Fin fans can blame Wells, how convenient..

Show that you are a championship caliber team and overcome what by now to the players must be just a piddling distraction and go out and win the game.

The team will never admit it because they want to be seen as fully onboard and totally compliant, but this is a distraction. I know these are players are professionals, but they are also humans and any type of investigation brings with it a certain sense of anxiety regardless of guilt or innocence.

The good news is it sounds like this stuff is coming to an end. Saw that Wells will deliver his report to the NFL within 7-10 days.
