Ronnie Brown is the future at running back for our team. The business side of the NFL sucks sometimes, but this is not Ronnie's fault. Now that Smith and Edwards are signed Miami should know exactly what to offer Brown and so should Brown's agent -- that's the frustrating part. It should get done.

I hope you a just playing a real big joke. You can't honestly believe this can you? :shakeno:

I absolutely believe this and apparantly the Dolphins organization does as well since they aren't giving into his demands. (And I for one hope they never do)

If I was confident in my abilities to star in the NFL, I'd be more concerned about long term income potential.....not the guaranteed money upfront. By missing all this time in the preseason, he's costing himself bigtime. The first four games were his to start....but I don't think thats the case anymore. We need someone who knows our playbook, is comfortable with the other players on the field and is in tip-top shape. Ronnie will not be that way with only two weeks or so of camp. Now, he'll be relegated to being a 2nd or 3rd string back all season and may never grow out of that role at any point during his career.

Would you also be confident about your ability not to suffer a career ending injury? He has been studying the playbook, so I'm sure he knows it fairly well. And how do you know he's not in tip top shape?

Doomed to be a career 2nd or 3rd stringer because of a holdout. Wow, that's tough. Someone should have told Edge and LT about that. From what I remember, they both held out and have gone on to be starters.

It should get done....but as long as Ronnie (and his agent) keep demanding unfair money, it ain't gonna happen. I'm sick of this bum and ready to dump his ***. Terrell Owens has a better attitude than Ronnie Brown....at least he's demanding money after producing....not asking for boo-koo bux without ever stepping on the field.

No, they have gave in some. Thy are now giving him the 21 mil he wanted as bonus. It's the incentives and things they're stuck on.

How is it unfair? They're asking for a market value contract based on what the other high draft picks have signed.

That is the problem of Miami being so good for so long and always getting mid-late 1st round picks. People like you don't understand that the top of the draft always get paid the big bucks and it does take some time to get them in camp. Look back at all the history.

Oh...my...God. This is by far the most ridiculous thing I've heard in quite some time. I'm so glad you aren't in charge or anywhere near in charge or even in a position to influence those that are in charge.
