Oh...my...God. This is by far the most ridiculous thing I've heard in quite some time. I'm so glad you aren't in charge or anywhere near in charge or even in a position to influence those that are in charge.

Exactly what I was thinking.

That is the problem of Miami being so good for so long and always getting mid-late 1st round picks. People like you don't understand that the top of the draft always get paid the big bucks and it does take some time to get them in camp. Look back at all the history.

Only 3 of the top 10 draft picks are unsigned and the negotiations for Brown seem to have more differences than any of the others. Furthermore, our season started earlier than most teams (due to the HOF game) which should have accelerated the deal. For him not to see Ricky's suspension as a golden opportunity to try and gain the starting position on the team shows me he has no heart. Let's dump him and let those who want to play ball represent this organization.

Please tell us how this thread really makes you feel

I'm just praying that this dude is just trying to rile us up or something and doesn't truly believe the schlock that he's typing. Ronnie, if you read this, don't listen to him! He must have fallen and hit his head or something...

I would take a 1st a second and a 3rd for ronnie's draft rights. Or Maybe Matt leinart next year

I thought he was joking until I kept reading. Certainly a different way of looking at things.

I'm not joking in the least....I'm tired of this organization losing and attitude problems only make this problem persist. If he doesn't want to get on the field and help this team win games, I would ship his *** out of town as quickly as I could.

Our season has not started yet. The PREseason started with the HOF game. There's a huge difference there. How do you know he doesn't see the suspension as a golden opportunity?

If you read the news you will see that Ronnie is really anxious to get into camp and is even calling players just to see how everything is going. Ronnie wants to be here, but he also wants a fair deal. This is after all his job and this is the biggest financial move he will ever make in his life. Don't say that he has no heart because he isn't signed after just one preseason game(yes two, after tomorrow). This is how the NFL works.

Now he's an attitude problem...where do you come up with this stuff?

With it becoming more and more apparent that Ronnie Brown does not have the heart to battle Ricky Williams for a starting postition in the backfield, I'm wondering what people would be happy getting in return for his rights.

I'd personally be more happy getting a 7th round pick for him now than seeing him suck the Dolphins cap room dry only to ride the bench.

However, I believe that there are enough desperate teams out there that someone would part with a 3rd round pick or so to take him off our hands.

Whats everyone else think?

Do you watch the NFL at all?
Or sports for that matter? Holdouts like this happen every year in every sport. It's been 2 weeks. Please.

Stop :deadhorse:

If we could get a 1st and a 3rd, I'd be jumping for joy....I just don't see any team willing to pay that once they've seen the problematic attitude he displays.

Unfortunately, I don't think it's a joke. The $24 for the VIP section is really starting to sound good to me....

Dude, seriously, it's like a safe haven. You can get away from all this ridiculous crap and actually talk about sane things. It's beautiful.
