He's not willing to work for any of his money and wants everything guaranteed. Overall, I'd rather take a 3rd round pick than grossly overpay for him to join the team or see him sit out of the league all season.

As does every first round pick.....man your slow...

With it becoming more and more apparent that Ronnie Brown does not have the heart to battle Ricky Williams for a starting postition in the backfield, I'm wondering what people would be happy getting in return for his rights.

I'd personally be more happy getting a 7th round pick for him now than seeing him suck the Dolphins cap room dry only to ride the bench.

However, I believe that there are enough desperate teams out there that someone would part with a 3rd round pick or so to take him off our hands.

Whats everyone else think?

I don't think Ronnie Brown would be battling Ricky Williams for the starting spot, because Ricky can't play the first 4 games. If your gonna say Ronnie doesn't have heart, but than imply that Ricky does, I really don't get it. I wish you were the GM of an NFL team, I would love to trade a 7th rd pick for Benson, or Pacman Jones. I wouldn't trade Ronnie Brown for a 1st rd pick, he's much too valuable to the franchise once he signs. Ricky has so much heart, which is why he quit on the team last year, because that's what player with heart do, quit, right?

Boy! There are some idiots out in droves tonight. No one in the right mind would trade Ronnie Brown, especially when Miami has pretty much nothing else in the backfield at this point.

I do like Ricky and was excited about having both him and Ronnie in the backfield this season and in the years ahead. However, as Ronnie keeps on demanding more and more guaranteed money (showing that he's not confident in earning any incentives), I no longer see him as the RB of the future for this team. I no longer want him here in 2005 or at any point in the years ahead.

I believe the guranteed money is agreed upon, but it's the incentives that he's trying to increase.

A seventh round pick for Ronnie? Am I reading that right? What the hell, man?

I think all of your posts are rubbish.

From your past thread that Jay Fiedler was a Hall of Fame caliber QB that was being held back by the Dolphins to this joke above you certainly are consistent.

Everything in the post above is rediculous.
You insinuate that Brown is holing out because he dosen't want to compete with Williams. Then you say you'd willingly give up a 2nd overall pick for a 7th round future pick. Do you really believe these things? :shakeno:

What a marroone! Probably would like to trade for Jay Fiedler too...

If you've read any of dean_siu's other posts, then you know he has a massive hard on for Ricky. One so massive that it drains the blood and oxygen from his brain, causing him to post moronic threads and messages.

i know you like ricky, but give ronnie a chance just like your giving ricky a second chance.
