What Fins are getting with Moreno from Barry Jackson

I'd also like to point out that Moreno was about average (~75%) at converting third/fourth and one last year.

Daniel Thomas was significantly worse than average. Yes, some of that was cruddy blocking and bad play calls, but he should be an improvement there.

I have not seen much from Moreno before this past season. In fact, I remember saying he was soft a few times. This was his 1st good season and he had a HOFer and a SB offensive line to do that. I feel they are more the reason he looked so passionate this past year.

Show me his views not based on PFF? There was a contradiction when he called Moreno average wiyh a o.0 grade to when he called him #7 vs Miller and DT being in the 30's, which was his same mistake from last week.

I've posted all of the same from PFF but, PFF was not worth being a source to believe. Now it is. lol

I think the talent around him made the production possible, but the enthusiasm can't come from anywhere but within.

I'm not upset about the signing but I just don't see how he is such a huge upgrade over Miller, and maybe only slightly better than Thomas. I seriously can't believe that there is anyone that can honestly say that Miller wouldn't have at least put up those numbers in Denver last year.

imo, he's here to replace Thomas not Miller

Adequate is accurate.
 
Hey he's a Dolphin now so i hope the kids an all pro next year.

I've followed his career living in GA where most of my buds are Georgia fans. Personally I think he was drafted too high (1 rounds) and the expectations were also too high. Last year he finally showed the player he was at U of G of course having Manning dictate the defense had to help plus he was finally healthy. Never the less he's definitely an upgrade over Thomas and should be a nice one two punch with Miller.
 
I think people are setting themselves up for possible disappointment. Who was that back in the late 80s early 90s who came from DEN and did not live up to expectations? Sammy Smith? For a one year flier, its not a bad deal. Buy I don't believe he will be a clear upgrade. If their is a clear upgrade, it will be from the offensive line.

I don't disagree, but the fact of the matter is Joe Philbin now has a back who can be 1,000 yard back. Miller's biggest fault was that the coaching staff clearly didn't trust him, even though he averaged over 4 YPC behind this terrible line. That isn't his fault at all, but with as poor of a staff as we had, it was his undoing.

We drafted Sammy (fumble on the 1 yard line two games in a row ) Smith in the first round along with Louis Oliver. I think you are referring to Devon Williams who we got from San Fran and was a one year wonder. Anyways I hope your wrong bro.
