he still has 1 yr of eligibility if he didnt want to declare or didnt want to be drafted by the team with the #1 pick remember eli then what not that i think he would act like that but he could stay in college if he so wanted too then what do we do??????

If Barkley does in fact return to school as someone "reported", guess they'll be "jonesing for Landry" eh?

Human sacrifice. Cats and dogs living together. Mass hysteria!

Maybe he'll go be a shift manager at McDonald's instead of declaring for the NFL. There's a lot of unlikely things that can happen.

Same response that has been given the last 600 times this possiblilty has been brought up.

Luck returned to Stanford for his senior undergraduate year, which is this current year.

Can he use his last year of eligibility if he graduates? The NCAA has a bunch of eligibility rules about "academic progress" which may factor in here. I believe that athletes get 4 years of eligibility over 5 academic years at the Div I level. I think they may not allow 4 years of eligibility over 6 years to prevent schools from deliberately holding on to some top players.

Then we pick Landry Jones - who although isnt Luck - is still a very good 1st round prospect and move on with our lives, but atleast we have a ****ing QB.

Who was the better QB from the 2004 class? Eli or Rivers (#3)? Eli or Rapelisberger (#11)?

Who was the better QB from the 2005 class? Alex Smith or Aaron Rodgers (#24)?

We might even see the StayPuff MashMellow man trotting up Hollywood Blvd.:d-day:

take a different position with our first round pick, then pull a belichick and trade our second round pick to some crappy team for their 2013 first round pick. If the team we trade with gets the overall top pick, draft Luck. If not, package our number one and the other number one to move up and take Luck. All that being said, he will not stay in school another year.
