Once again your reading problems are catching up to you. I never said overallt he Jets have had as much success as Miami but we have been better for years and we own you guys.

by the way, you are kidding yourself putting the dolphins in the same category w/ Dallas, SF Oak & wash. This is where dolphin fans make the mistake, they think b/c they have all these "winning seasons" they are an elite franchise w/ teams like dal & SF but those teams have 5 SBs compared to just 2 for Miami which came over 30 years ago. Oak & wash have 3 and they have come over a 9 year period in Wash's case and a 7 yr period in Oak's case. miami had the great 2 years but hasn't won a title since. you are definitely a notch below those others you mentioned.

I personally think that this is kind of a stupid thing to argue about. However I do feel we have one of the more talented teams we have had in the last 10 years (just look at the potential we have in the WRs, RBs, and our experienced Defense). Who is to say we can't win 12 games, tough division or not. Besides, how many Jets fans thought that we could beat New England last year WITH Feely! I don't know much about this upcoming season, however one thing I do know is that I would much rather be a Dolphins fan in 2005 than a Jets fan in 2005.

First post on this board so let me be upfront and tell you guys that I am a Bills fan, but I think we have the greatest rivalry going. I'm not here to troll or bust chops, just have intelligent, fun, football canversation.

You guys are in a rebuild year, it happens to every team, you guys have just been very fortuanate to not have had to experiene it so far. The Dolphins are going to provide you with some awesome plays, some giant frustrations, but hopefully the bottom line is that you will have a good time this year. You've now got a good head coach, the makings of a terrific running game, and a solid defense. It would appear (key word appear) that you have some qb issues so I suspect you guys to be a physical running attack that tries to consume clock. Your situation is very similar to ours last year so I can easily see an 8-8 or 9-7 record this year. If it is better than that I will be suprised. Rebuild...its a pain, but eorth the effort.

J-E-T-S suck suck suck.... Jets will now be on the down slide... so will New England with it's personnel and coaching losses. The Bills are going to be a good team but not great, they have more question marks than the Fins do. You'll see Miami go possibly 11-5 at best which coming from where we were isn't that bad. Plus we benefit from a softer schedule then in past years due to the Fin's being so bad last year. Saban already has many tools at his disposal on this team and the best coaching staff in the NFL. Granted QB is our weakest postion but coaching will make the QB position a big upgrade over last year.

As for Fiedler... He has a lot of heart but dosent have the physical tools to do the job. He cant throw a deep ball to save his life and sometimes gets color blind and throws to the wrong color jersey. Especially when the DB had a clear route to the endzone. If Chad goes down again jets will be in last place.

I reall do not see Saban unloading Ricky this year.. Maybe before next year's draft, but keeping him (as long as he remains somwhat normal) in the back field with Brown, Morris, Gordon, Harris and Minor Gives us a very deep RB postion.

I'd be very pleased to finish .500 and end the season with a few wins in a row to let the guys know that the new system is working.

Chad Pennington right now can't throw the football more than 40 yards! And he is one of the most injury prone QB'S in the NFL.

If you say we have an overrated aging D, that would mean you agree when I say that Martin is past his prime and will show signs of slowing down soon, maybe this year. Martin is 32, older than anyone on Miami's D except for Traylor and Seau and this D won't rely on them like the Jets O does Martin!

Miami's "OLD" D consist of Taylor, Carter, Holliday , Chester, Schulters, Jones, Madison, Roth, Crowder, Thomas, Daniels, Pope, Seau, Vickerson , Wright , Yerimah Bell David Bowens.. None of these people are over rated or too old. Like I said Traylor just plugs the middle which leaves Seau who most likely wont even be a starter.

Jets will most likely Have Jay Fumbler as their starting signal caller this season, good luck! Martin will show that he is 32 years old this season, its just a matter of time. You need a FS bad and your corners are questionable! You lost 2 DL and now your big star Abraham is a hold out! You also lost a O lineman and have a coach who doesn't understand that the big hand is for Minutes and the little hand is for Hours.

Jets fans make me laugh. I honestly think the JETS are the worst team in the AFC east and IM sure Herm Edwards will be on the hot seat after this season.

Miami has more talent and a better coach, simple. Wake up kid!

Miami is the only team ever to finish a season "PERFECT" and also has the winningest coach in the NFL. The JETS have 3? Divsion titles since their inception into the AFC EAST? PATHETIC! You guys have only managed to win the AFC EAST 3 times? LOL! Tell me that isn't PATHETIC!!
