What is the difference between the Dolphins and Jets?

How can you possibly say the Dolphins have a better defense? Nnamdi Asomugha, Revis and Cromartie in the secondary...teams might as well not even throw the ball. I do think Sanchez is very talented but slightly overrated. The Dolphins don't have enough confidence in their QB this year to make a run like the Jets did last year. Bush, let's go ahead and call him a bust. His expectations coming out of USC were that he was going to change the game.

who cares? they went undefeated in arguably the toughest div in the league. They beat Green Bay in Lambeau and lost on the road to Min, NYJ & SD. Many teams lost to those teams especially on the road. That's 3 div rd or better teams.

It was not a very tough div in 09. Cincy beat Pitt, but so did teams like the 4-12 Chiefs, 5-11 Raiders, and the 5-11 Browns.

Ohhh Bal had questionable calls bal scored THREE points, you aren't winning a playoff game scoring 3 pts in Indy and Bal never led. The Jets had an 11 pt lead and led in the 2nd half.

well if the '09 Jets face the banged up '10 colts team then they reach the SB, right? and if we aren't banged up in '09 we would have had a much better shot against Indy in '09.

I never said that the bad calls cost them the game, just saying it would have been a closer game. Too bad for the Jets that NFL games are 4 quarters, and not 2.

I think the Jets were better in 10 than they were in 09, so since the 10 Jets only beat the banged up Colts team by 1 point, I think the banged up 10 Colts team would have gotten by the 09 Jets.

There are plays in every game that can change the direction of games and outcomes, we cannot deal w/ what if's. We have to deal w/ what actually happened.

Yep, we lucked into the playoffs, beat a bad team, then got lucky againsta good team before our lucked finally ran out.

I'm tired of the excuses, Indy was rolling teams putting up 30+ PPG the last 4-5 weeks then we shut them down.

They were 9-7 that year BUT:

Bal 6-4 outside div
Pit 7-3 outside div

bad teams don't make the playoffs, Cincy was one of the weaker ones in recent years along w/ Mia '08 and KC '10 but they still were a good team that earned their spot
