What is wrong with Shadeur Sanders

He's not very good and was overrated due to his name. Also this

This tweet doesn't even make any sense. Andy Dalton has been in the league for 14 years, is 26th all time in passing TDs and 26th all time in passing yards. If you had the knowledge that you would be getting that from a Quarterback, they are the #1 pick all day.

I don't think anything's wrong with him, I believe he could be all good NFL quarterback. The problem is what's attached to him or better yet who's attached. "Dion" Is the problem, him in his meddling. I don't think too many NFL teams are looking forward to that and I don't blame them one bit.

Tom P on NFL Network said the consensus was Geno Smith with a worse arm. Doesn’t play on time and will need to basically relearn everything, which will take time, if it even works.

And that he didn’t slide. That’s where NFL teams viewed him, and the media just ignored the facts of it

This makes sense he really has looked like a Day 2 prospect from the beiginning. The media hype had him overrated

I think his ceiling is more like a bigger more athletic Tua who has already proven he can take a pounding and stay upright. How would we feel about a consistently healthy Tua with more size and athleticism? They’re very similar passers. Accuracy, anticipation, and ball placement prowess, lacking a live arm but can still make all the throws. He’s good off script too.

I’ve always felt like Tua was his best pro comparison as a passer.

Personally, I’d have probably drafted him over Jaxson Dart….. not that I dislike Dart as a QB prospect. He’s got a lot of tools to work with (Dart) just a bit more raw, IMO.

Sanders is going to remain a fascinating story to follow. I’m very interested in seeing who pulls the trigger on him tonight. If I’m the New Orleans Saints….. I go up to 33 and get him.

Remember, every team who didn’t draft him last night could have via a trade up.

Cleveland isn’t going to do it. Will Pittsburgh? They didn’t when they could. The Saints may be the place.

The physical and developmental limitations are one thing. Dealing with a reported entitled person, media magnet family, and daddy who won’t shut up makes the entire thing not worth it

Does he? Like what? He’s got a weak arm, long release, doesn’t play on time, isn’t an athletic freak, not properly developed, and never been coached by anyone but his dad

Yeah I feel like the Saints were smart about probably knowing he could be had in RD2 if they want him. I could see that being the best fit for him plus they can keep wearing black and gold lol

The problem is the Saints need a starter. Sanders can’t start Day 1. If he could, he’d be a Saint this morning
