You made me laugh with that one. I'd be OK with giving up some players and a couple of picks but not the whole draft. If we get Harbaugh, I would be ok with the Dolphins giving up their ENTIRE draft for Luck.

it would be a mistake to hire him. He barely has a college resume, and now all of a sudden hes good enough for the NFL?
It seems like He would mesh really well with Mike Nolan as well because they both like to attack out of the 3-4
Yea Harbaugh lost to Oregon though? Where was his great coaching in that game?
He was a OC for Dallas Cowboys and had a top 5 offense, he was an ast HC to the guy who hired him as coach and he was a position coach for many yrs.......What makes Tony Sparano a good NFL coaching prospect?

One thing I didnt like about Harb was his interview after the game, he didnt sound like a communicator, that is the most important asset a coach has his ability to get his message to his team.....thats what makes Belicheat so good, he gets what's in his head to his players in the most simple of terms.......the test with Harb will be his interview, he seems to have the knowlege but can he communicate to the players....
If Saban had got Drew Brees he would have been a great NFL coach. Instead, ..........we all know what happened.
The better question is, What makes him a bad one? Answer: banked on the wrong QB, like Saban, like Wanny, etc. Give Brady or Manning to any of those guys, and suddenly, they're brilliant. Belichek is good, but he was nobody before Brady. (And BTW, if he's so brilliant, why wasn't Brady starting ahead of Bledsoe before Drew went down?)
Give the top QB in college to a coach, and suddenly, he's a rock star!! I just wonder if everyone would be salivating over Harbaugh if he hadn't had Luck as his QB?
Brady quinn is only good enough to play catch with at the parkThis is it.
Culpepper killed the offense. That was such a big decision. And Saban missed. Truth is, the NFL has just a handful of MONUMENTAL decisions that come along. And these decisions truly make or break a coach and his team. Sparano has not made the best of his big decisions. Saban missed on this one. Did Cam Cameron miss when his QB fell right into his lap in the draft? Remember that? He drafted Ginn instead of Quinn.
There are thousands of small decisions each year. You decide whether to rest a guy, whether to practice for an extra hour, who's going to meet with the press on Tuesday afternoon... stuff like that. And then there are the big ones. You cannot miss on the big ones or you lose. It's that simple.
