I think Croyle is a good player, but Cutler has done far more with less talent on his roster. Cutler's porous o-line forced him to throw off his back foot on most every play against LSU. This is what caused the turnovers.

Plus, Cutler has managed to avoid injury and start all four years, unlike Croyle. Of course, since Cutler plays at Vandy he will be overlooked.
well i started watching vandy 3 years ago (kwane doster went to my high school, i was a pretty big fan of his--nice to see the #1 on the field there), and i'll admit cutler has made GREAT progress from the previous seasons where he was just an option guy, however he's still pretty inexperienced in this new system they're running, and has made too many mistakes that can't be blamed on his teammates

Just a quick note to all you people that don't watch college and think Marcus Vick can't throw, he has a 68.2 completion percentage. Thought you might want to know.

who has said he can't throw? but i'm taking it with a grain of salt, considering he's thrown against such great defenses as duke, ohio, marshall, nc state (he was under 50% there btw). he had an incredible game against west virginia, though

I would take Reggie Ball. lol just playin

i wouldnt draft a qb. They take 2-3 years to groom (4-5 years if theyre run 1st qb's like Vick, Young or McNabb were). Ill take the best vet available as long as we dont overpay like hell. And when I say Vet I mean even an unproven vet like Rivers (though I have liked him since his soph yr @ NC State) or Schaub, a guy who's never really gotten a chance to ply full time except as a sub (like Volek), or a guy who has been good but may get let go for cap reasons like Brees.

Ill draft a rookie Qb to groom for 2-3 years from now but I dont want a rookie starting next season.

I would like Leinhart. Assuming we are not in the position to draft him, I would like Brady Quinn or Charlie Whitehurst. Quinn has proven to have a talented arm and is very intelligent. Whitehurst is a solid athlete all around.

Brodie Croyle has bad knees. You can't waste an early pick on a player who can't help from getting injured, i.e. Jason White. Gradkowski would be my choice in the 2nd or 3rd. He is a huge talent at the QB position.

I seriously doubt if falcons give up schaub. If jim mora has any kinda sense he sees the potential. So drop your hopes and dreams of getting schaub. Lets get a black fast running QB.

Brady Quinn, Marcus Vick, Omar Jacobs, Mike Stanton(Michigan State, I think it's Mike), and finally Chris Leak. That's my want list in that order. I would love Quinn, but I don't think he's coming out. I think Vick is going to be a great QB. Better then his brother. He can pass the ball and has the legs to elude the blitz as well. I hope he comes out and we can snag him. He'd be a top 10 pick if there weren't any issues last season.

LMAO! It's Drew Stanton. And as much as I would love to see him go to the dolphins, I don't think he's coming out (which is fine too, as I'm also a sparty).

I gree. I was starting to believe Cutler might have 1st day potential but teh 1st time he faced a bigtime D (LSU this weekend) he got absolutely rocked even if his team was undermanned (compared to LSU). He did nothing to help the cause.

I agree. Cutler has some ability but it's developmental not first day ability. On his delivery he cranks up a bit and holds the ball lower than ideal. Also not the greatest touch; too many line drives. He might be a 5th or 6th round guy who could come on after a few years of pro coaching.

Any of these qb's wold be nice: Leinart, Vick, Rivers, and Ill let you know my opinion on Jacobs. I just need to watch him more. I really want this team to get a smart, accurate, nice touch qb in both the pocket and on the run, and has enough mobility to escape. Is that to much to ask??
