If we can package some picks to move up into the 2nd round, that would be great.
We must improve our OL if we want the RW trade to pay off.
We need to pick up some young BMNSOB's (big, mean, nasty, sob,s) to play on the OL.
Even if they don't start this year, we need to groom some guys for the future. We have some old guys that won't be around too much longer IMO.
If we move up into the 2nd, there should still be some top quality guys then.
This is a very deep draft on the OL.

Unfortunately, there's almost no way for the 'Fins to move up to the second round with our current draft situation.

With the 90th piick...the Fins select....

Ok, so we don't have a pick until the 3rd round but for draftniks out there like myself, who are the Dolphins selecting? I'm basing my assumption that we resign LoBro so a pass rusher will not be a priority.

We need a WR/Return specialist and some OL help but i think the Return Specialist may be higher on the list so the Fins take

WR Kahlil Hill-Iowa 6-2 190lbs.

His strength is returning kicks and punts BUT also caught 53 balls last year for 15ypc.

Lets here everyones pick

Ok, so we don't have a pick until the 3rd round but for draftniks its fun to guess who'll be there and who we wil pick.

Assuming we resign LoBro we will not a DE/Pass Rush guy so i think our biggest need is a Return Specialist and OL.

The Dolphins select..

WR Kahlil Hill- Iowa 6-2 190

This guy was a feared in Return guy both punts and kicks in college. He is also a skilled WR that could be in the mix in a year or two. He had 53 receptions last year at 15 yards of pop!

Lets here everyones picks. No pipedreams please.

That's a good pick Haywood...

I would have to say...........OG Martin Bibla of U. of Miami.

I think Bibla will be there until late 4th early 5.
I also think there is a possibility we receive a compensatory pick after the 3rd.

OL or LB

I would say draft OG Martin Bibla of Miami if he is still on the board. BUT, since we are extremely thin at LB, that might be the way to go in the third round and concentrate on OL with our next couple of picks. We will find out soon what compensatory picks we will be getting too.

We don't get much coverage of college football over here...

...but I like the sound of these guys who from the analysis on football.com should fall at least to the third.

Posssible O/lineman:
Marc Columbo - Boston College - 6-7 - 295 pounds
(Sounds like the kind of guy to stand in front of our new dreadnought) :)

DE's
Dwight Freeney - Syracuse , 6-1 , 255 pounds
Antonio Garay - Boston College , 6-4 , 285 pounds
(Both good on the pass rush and direct replacements for Lorenzo Bromell as situational DE). May even draft lower than 3.:)

Feel free to add your analysis of these guys and who compares with them that may fall to pick 3 and below.

I think Columbo will get picked in the second round. Freeney might fall to the third and that could make things interesting if we don't sign Bromell back. Freeney is considered a tweener, so we could even draft him for the LB spot, if he can put on a few more pounds.

I think with such a late-pick, you pick up the best available player that plays at a position where we need to add some depth (Assuming we do not add anyone else via FA - OL, CB (Dime) or S, DL, OLB)

I heard that Freeny now weighs about 260 lbs, but hasn't lost his speed. I would love the Dolphins to trade up to get Columbo or Gurode.
