I want the best man to win the job. I'm sure saban will give the job to whoever performs the best in the next game.

For nearly two years, I have been waiting for AJ to step up and be the next great QB.

I just can't understand why we haven't drafted a top notch quarterback in the last 5-10 years? We all knew Dan couldn't play forever. Didn't that ever cross Jimmy's or Wanny's minds? DUH!

I never thought about that why didnt we draft an heir to Marino?

Saban is going to go with the quarterback who will be better at controlling the ball. I don't know which of the 4 quarterbacks that is right now, but he'll try to go with the "serviceable quarterback" route.

I think he'll go with the positives. The Defense sounds very solid, per the 1st period of last night's game. The OL is coming around, so he'll try to focus on the running game (hurry up & sign, Ronnie!) and passes to the strength of our team: CHAMBERS & MCMICHAEL. Maybe some short passes out of the backfield to the fullback or running backs.

Dink & Dunk and try not to turn it over and hope your defense is more dominating of the opposing offense. The Ravens superbowl run comes to mind.

Who would you start at this point if you were Nick Saban?

IMO there won't be a starter named until after our 3rd preseason game but most coaches with only 4 preseason games would name their starter after the second game.

I'm only going to put 2 QB's in this poll because they are both #1 on the depth chart and because of that it seems that Sage and Brock aren't involved in competition for the starting job.

IMO he's screwed either way.

I don't care about the results of the poll can any of you say you are actually glad that Gus could be starting for us? that this is the best the Miami Dolphins could do is a 34 yr old journeyman who has never been good in the nfl? he has a career qb rating of 72?

Gus won't make us look like laughingstocks. He may be bad, but next to AJ he is light years ahead

Gus just knows the O better than AJ, he certainly doesn't execute it any better..and that's sad for someone who's spent 2 years in it..no wonder Minny let him go so easily.

I would give Sage and Brock all snaps with the first tream and start them. We may not uncover a treasure but at least we would KNOW how they could do with the number ones. It would also send a not so subtle message to Gus and AJ. Accepting that this will not happen, Coach will probably continue the rotation. That means Feeley.

I do see the downside: Both AJ and Gus need all the reps they can get with the first team to get timing down. You know that thing that none of our QB's had last year. You know, in the new system. SCREW Sage and Brock. Stop wasting time with the scrubs.
