What to do at SS?

I understand that there is a love fest for YB because he makes a few highlight hits every now and then, but he's one of the worse cover safeties in football at this stage in his career. The guy is absolute toast. I'm in favor of bringing in Reggie Nelson and moving Reshad Jones over to the starting SS spot, or making a play for Laron Landry.

BELL can't cover his a** anymore. He's useless in 21st Century professional football. The N.E. TEs LOVE him. SO does KELLER, who i/m/o shouldn't do much against ANYONE good. MIAMI can't afford BELL. Let JONES play SS. It's where he SHOULD HAVE BEEN PLAYING from Day One. Get a veteran FS. I don't care who, although NELSON might be preferable since he knows our DC's "system".

WILSON's a CB, and I think that he's going to be a very good one. SMITH and DAVIS are both solid. And W ALLEN did pretty well playing the "slot CB". I wouldn't change ANY of their positions. I MIGHT go after that SS from Notre Dame, but NOT in the 1st Round: I want better value, EVEN IF MIAMI DOES trade down. A trade down changes nothing, as far as I'm concerned.

isnt the only good SS in the draft going to be mark barron from alabama... or are we thinking of converting a free safety to SS via the draft. I'm thinking smith, martin and iloka are all free safeties, no?
