What trade value does Matt Moore have

You might want to look up the word journeyman. He has bounced around three teams since he came into the league, isnt that the very defintion of a journeyman.
All junc said was would be lucky to garner a 7th and someone said since moore had better stats then Sanchez must be worth less which has nothing to do with actual value. I think Moore is worth more than a 7th but this had nothing to do with Sanchez until another poster brought it up. Just like I never brought up Ryan until you just mentioned him and he is quite better than Sanchez or Moore so is there a point.

Even if you are right about the exact definition of a journeyman I still disagree with every single other thing you said. Vark pretty much just summed up what is really happening. No offense. Just sayin

So between 94 and 99, ST Louis home club was Kurt Warner's 4rd team after GB, Rams Europe and The Arena League, plus he stocked shelves in between. By your standards, he's a journeyman journeying in the unwanted wilderness for 4 yrs before he was brought into the NFL as the 3rd stringer. So shame on him for not living up to your definition of "journeyman" eh?

Junk uses threads that do not concern him to smear our players and there's a natural reaction when the hypocrisy involves him glorifying his own player with worse performance. It's hard not to call out his BS especially when Sanchez is such a load. Sorry. Oh and on the basis of empirical evidence we know, Ryan is a choker when it counts most - big time.

Until he latched on with St Louis and stuck he was a journeyman by definition. This was the word i USED TO describe Moore and its quite appropriate now if he does well with us and hangs around for about 5 years than we could argue what he is. As for Ryan i could care less if you want to see him as a choker, lets not act like he has came into those games and threw like 3 interceptions and a fumble every time they get in playoffs. I will take Ryan any day over moore and Sanchez and Im pretty sure you would if you were honest. People said the same thing about Peyton early in his career also and I see football as a team game and Ryan is definately doing more to help Atlanta win than keeping them from winning.

I could care less if anyone on this board disagrees with me or not. Popular does not mean correct and please show me any evidence that Moore has more trade value than Sanchez. L

First off you do not trade Matt Moore, it doesn't matter if you go after Manning, Flynn, RGIII or some other qb, Moore stays on the roster as the incumbent/backup QB. Henne is the odd man out, let him walk.

The sad part about the Miami offense is the fact that it was so inept the past few seasons that when Moore took over it looked like a race car. I said it before you just traded a 400lb wife for a 200lb wife, she isn't skinny.

You'd be stealing if you could get a 3rd out of Moore with a 5th or 6th the likely value on his head and if that is the case it isn't worth moving him, you know what you have and you know how he plays, better than Henne and at this point that is the only comparison relevant.

always referencing the "past" for your QB of the "future".....

so we are supposed to ignore 2/3 of his career and just focus on the future? I guess we onl;y focus on matt Moore playing meaningless games w/ Car & Mia and ignore his awful play starting the season in 2010 w/ Car?

The bottom line is that Sanchez came out as the #5 overal pick in the draft and no one in their right mind would give up the #5 pick for him now. Matt Moore was a undrafted free agent and is now arguably worth maybe a fourth round pick. Sanchez might fetch a third round pick.

If Sanchez is better a better QB than Moore it ain't by much, which is sad because again, he was the #5 pick.

The only place where Moore is arguably a 4th rd pick is on this board, there isn't a GM in their right mind who would give up anything close to a 4th rd pick.

Well....... I agree with you about not giving a crap what anyone else thinks AND that popularity doesn't equal success!!!!! Hell I want Moore to start this year. Really what I was saying is that Junc is always wrong when it comes to Sanchez and for anyone to fuel his absurd homer fire is making a mistake.
