What trade value does Matt Moore have

heh we'll see who's the better QB when philbin and sherman get a hold of moore and sparano, who junc loves so much now, gets a hold of sanchez bahaha.

also if we get flynn or rg3 this year....

brady > (healthy)fitz > flynn/rg3 > moore > mallett > sanchez/henne/thigpen/bradsmith.. the jets will have the 6th best QB in the division.

so now Philbin and Sherman are gurus? Mike McCarthy built that GB O, Sherman had success w/ Brett Favre in his prime and still couldn't win in January. I don't care if we have the worst QB in the division as long as we win.

maybe the 7th if David Carr resigns as Eli's b/u :idk:

the point is, we already have a better QB than Sanchez, yet we're trying to upgrade further while the jest stand pat.

anyone that knows anything about the game knows there wouldn't be a competition btw Sanchez and Moore. Moore is a nice backup, nothing more.

Awesome! he played slightly better in meaningless games w/ no pressure to win. He did this in Carolina too, no GM would give up a bag of balls for Moore. when Moore plays in and wins a big game then we can begin to talk.

called it........... so if there is "no pressure to win" any time that a team starts off bad or is mathematically eliminated with 3 or 4 games to play, should just forfit the game, hand over their game check, and hit the links and when the coach asks why, just reply with "theres no pressure to win so whats the point"

i will repeat this for the 100th time, Sanchez has all "pressure to win" vs Miami with playoff spot still on the line, and choked terribly, he was awful, he gave the Dolphins 9 points on his own and put his defense back on the field constantly while he sat in the shade with his arms outstretched while Moore marched down the field for the go ahead TD

Sanchez was awful late in the year as were his teammates, Sanchez has also been excellent in his 2 postseason trips. Moore had one drive all game, until the last INT Moore was having a much worse game than sanchez. I hope Moore is starting for you guys week 1, you'll learn what Carolina learned.

you know the answer will be no, and the reason will be Moore was "playing with no pressure" and that Sanchez had a down year because of his O-Line and has proven in the past he can play in "big games".......even though he lost them the game vs Miami with a chance at the playoffs on the line

Problem is, Sanchez has been in a down year since he started, if for some luck (Well, more then then just some), and a very good defense and running game, he would be a distant memory by now.

yep b/c w/ good luck any QB can have success! we have seen so many bad QBs help their teams get to conf title games in back to back years(in his first 2 years no less).

Why trade him?

He is only $2.5m against the cap, and he played well last year. Even at minimum he is a very, very good backup.

Many on here want Flynn who had one outstanding game, for $7m plus.

I dont want to take the risk. Keep Moore, draft a QB and utilise Philbin & Sherman to do what we hired them for....... devolop a franchise QB!

I think they'd be wise to keep him as a backup is they can.

Mark Sanchez was overrated the previous 2 years as he was being carried by a strong running game and elite D.

This year, when the D and running game dropped Sanchez had similar stats but was seen for what he is.......another Henne!

Bad QB's can get to conference games and great QB's never win SB's. Although it is a QB driven league, it is not the be all and end all.

actually his #s were up across the board this year but he wasn't anywhere neara s good as he was in 2010. Bad QBs don't get to back to back title games, you can have a fluke run but 4 road wins in 2 season? not a fluke.

Fine, in meaningless games last year, Moore looked good, and in meaningless as well as meaningful games in the regular season the last 3 years, Sanchez has looked ordinary to pretty much bad....better?

:chuckle:
thats what i was gonna say, wonder if the JESTS would do a moore for sanchez swap? even though moore is better.

yep b/c ordinary to bad QBs win 4 road playoff games in 2 years and help their team to back to back title games. It's so easy yet better QBs like oore can't even sniff a meaningful game.

We'd do it, if you threw in your 1st rd picks for the next 4 years.

Who's to say Moore, or even Henne, also going 7-7 in 09 wouldn't have "risen to the challenge" of 2 teams deciding to let them win and sneak into the play offs back door also. Hell, if Penny in 08 would have faced the 09 dead team walking Bengals.. or Sanchez in 09 the equivalent of the 08 Ravens, then the former would have likely moved on and the latter been "1 and done." Sorry, but if you're a 7-7 team with a 6 of 7 losing streak, who couldn't beat Atlanta at home when it really counted and then gets gifted into the playoffs, there's no credit to be given if you and your play didn't deserve to get in there in the first place. :idk:

From a more objective jest fan

Dallas - 1 yard TD "drive" after a Sanchez pick (basically a pick 6)Buffalo - 20 yard TD "drive" after a Sanchez pick
Philly - 17 yard TD "drive" after a Sanchez fumble
NYG - 19 yard TD "drive" after a Sanchez fumble
NE - Ninkovich 12 yard INT return for TD
Den - Goodman 26 yard INT return for TD
Bal - Webb 73 yard INT return for TD
NYG- Sanchez tackled in end zone
Bal - Sanchez strip sack, 6 yard TD return
Bal - Sanchez strip sack, 26 yard TD return

Sanchez killed the Jets this year.

Please Please Please for the love of this site stop talking about your back to back title game LOSSES , Sanchez got there with an elite defense and top 5 running game....hmmmm Alex Smith (considered a bust and "bad" QB for the last 7 seasons) made it to a title game (a LOSS) with an elite #1 ranked defense and a great running game, but when he went up against a team with a real QB in a title game he lost, same with Sanchez vs. Peyton and Roethlisberger
