It's very clear from every talking head that they think the Pats will beat us at Gillette because the Pats "Just can't" lose a 3rd in a row. Or just because we haven't won there since 2008.
BB has to win this to keep traction in the AFCE.

What do you think he will do here?

My guess is a lot of bunch formations, likely to get Gordon open, or crossing patterns made to confuse our defense. There will also be the Brady PI throws he is so known for that WILL get called by the NE Refs.

What say you?

Run heavy sets. A few years back when NE started out slow, BB used alot of double TE sets.

Putting the focus on the front 7.

They're going to keep us in nickel early and just go at us in the run and underneath with White and Gronk. When we sell out more to shore up the soft underbelly, they'll try to attack Bobby long with less safety help deep.

That's my guess, but if it was that easy to predict he wouldn't be one of history's greatest coaches...

BB will play coverage's to take away the deep passes and the speedy receivers. He will use more cb's on the field. He will try to make Miami dink and dunk down the field and he will be saying Miami will not be able to sustain their offense over any great period of time. He does not think they can sustain a move the chains offense. Soooo this is the week that the TE's on Miami have to have big games to counteract that. Just my guess...

#1 priority imo is shut down the run and force Tannehill to beat you while trying to confuse him with different zone looks. With the slow defense they have, I'm guessing we'll see alot of zone. If that doesn't work, the Patriots will be in serious trouble on defense.

He's definitely going to trot Gordon out there, for nothing more than running verticals to keep the safeties from cheating up. Then run at us in nickel. Also expect a few designed running plays to Gordon.

They're going to run to their right because Hayes is not playing so they will run right at Wake and kiko.
Don't over think it. They will try to win up front. Brady will have his quick short passes so that our pass rush can't get there.
And regardless of what we do, he'll go to Gronk.

Alot has been made of our trickery in the Raiders game, I fear with the struggles they're having offensively they might try to catch us off guard with some of their own. Hope we're ready for it.

The Pats don't trick but design a game plan on matchupa and execution. Gordon will 100 percent play imo and their D will attempt to confuse the o esp the oline and short game. Stopping the run and short pass will be their focus.

They don't have much at WR so I expect a lot of passes to the RB's and TE. Gordon is the X factor. I'd expect them to run to the outside so DE's need to maintain the edge. I also expect some screen plays to take advantage of DE's tendency to get up the field in a hurry.

On defense I expect a fair amount of blitzing from them. We need to make them respect our vertical attack so others can exploit their slow LB's in the passing game.

Exactly. I feel like I've seen BB do this a couple times. He'll take your strength and hit you with it.

BB will do whatever he can to win. Gase will do the same.
I believe our team is more talented than the Pats, and that includes RT vs a 40+ Brady at this point in both of their careers.
Our speed on offense has got to be worrisome to BB so he will try to prevent quick scores and we will have success running the ball.
Running the ball will keep Brady on the sideline limiting their touches..
I think it will be a close hard fought ball game with red zone defense being huge.
Special teams, field position and turnovers will likely decide the outcome.
I'm most worried about the officiating slowing us down if we get off to a good start.
This is the best time to play NE in their house. Good weather and they are reeling from the losses.
Smack another loss on them and we are well on our way to the AFC East title.
Miami wins a close game.
33-31

I see Gordon's name a lot in this thread but maybe you forgot about Phillip Dorsett who is one of the fastest receivers in the league.

Brady will spread it around, i rhibk Gronk will be key. He was beaten at the snap last game and made Brady look elsewhere.
