seriously doubt that a potential pro-bowl TE will get cut after a domestic dispute. anyone that is married has arguments with their wife, some just deal with it differently, randy gets physical - he's a football player, a very aggressive one at that and i wouldn't doubt that his aggressiveness stays on the field as we can see with him getting into altercations with his wife.

on another note, quintin williams was trying to make the team, he fudged up and had to pay the ultimate price in being cut. randy has already made the team and is an incumbant starter. saban would be an idiot to release him.

Listen Gomer - THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR HITTING YOUR WIFE!!! What type of screwed up world do we live in?:shakeno:

Well what was the little...the waters arent so calm now comment then....if it wasnt rubbing our noses in it...and why would you even start a post like that...when you know its gonna get a phins fan pissed to read a bills fan saying anything??

This is Jill fans against dolfans and im lovin every second of it

What will Saban do?????? exactly what he said. He doesnt respect this type of behavior and doesnt expect it from his team.

does it mean Randy will face action. Hell no. Why would he? That Quentin guy was trying to impress the coaches and make the team. He had a DUI, which isnt a good way to make an impression as an undrafted guy trying to make the team, and he got cut, just speeding up which was bound to happen anyway

and will the league suspend him. No they wont and they should not. I know the pathetic Bills fans on this site (what the f*** are you doing here anyway. Seem a little insecure imo) are scared of this guy, but the league shouldnt suspend for a minor battery charge, and even if he is found guilty, its a first time offense and its a minor charge. He shouldnt hit his wife obviously, and the punishment for that is being taken care of legally. No need for it to be taken out professionally as well, especially for a league that has lots worse

hopefully saban will encourage McMichael to get counseling for his anger and drinking problem. Hitting your wife or a woman for that matter is not excusable. But, if alcohol contributes to his hitting his wife then maybe counseling will help.

You're kidding right? You didn't just justify wife beating did you?

I don't mean to single you out, but your posts are inline with what has happened with me in the past.

If she was repeatedly charging the vehicle causing him to push her away.. in other words he was trying to get out of the situation. Then, perhaps she has more aggression problems than him? You have already seen what I have dealt with in another thread. I hope you don't have to deal with it as well. Chances are, sober or not, you will try to fight back.

Ever been persued relentlessly by someone? Tried to walk/run away only to have them in your face for hours on end?

I GUESS you are right. I think Randy will eventually find himself behind bars if this continues.

How about leaving the scene without retaliation?

Listen, I don't doubt that there are situations where physicality can't be avoided.

But if I take a step back, regardless of what has happened to other, should a top five TE who weighs 250 lb's be able to avoid a womans attacking him.

He lines up opposite defensive ends, I think he'd be able to get off the line against Mrs McMichael

Good luck... have you ever felt your life in danger from someone kicking you down the stairs when trying to do just that? And then following you down the stairs? Your forst reaction is either fight or flight, if you have no play to "flight" to, your only option is to fight.

I guess not too many people have had the pleasure of having a great stituation go bad due to someone going off thier medictaion. I say good for you, but you have to realize there are others that are not so fortunate.

Read my posts in this thread. http://www.finheaven.com/boardvb2/showthread.php?t=85133&page=5&pp=40

pages 4 and 5, though I have my thread listings set to the max setting, so your page listings my be different.

Funny you should mention that. When trying to be passive in a small area, it's not easy to get out of it with some sort of contact. I was 6'0" 225 and my wife was 5'4" 125. Thankfully after the incident and all was said and done, I spent my time, local law enforcement now very well of my situation. If I call they come and take care of things. But before that I had no out.

Also, good luck avoiding that blind side attack as you try to retreat.

Just like last year he will get a slap in the hand.I think Saban will take the attitude that the law should handle this domestic spat and not get involved very much.
