What would you say to Martin?

I asked him to give me his moms number so I can have her file suit against my boss for yelling at me when I get behind at work. Really hurts my feelings
 
I'd tell him not to get his vajayjay hurt because I want to do his sister and crap down his mother throat!!

Just kidding ....

Ruckus, I share your passion for the Dolphins but wait for the full story to come out. I sense that Martin is manic depressive and also a perfectionist who was poorly matched with Incognito, who may be a sociopath, as his mentor. There is a lot more to come.
Hopefully, the problem helps to galvanize the team to some good wins.

For the sake of the rest of Martin's life I hope your right, but I just can't believe it yet. With Ricky Williams all the signs were there and him leaving was obviously based in issues. He didn't blame, point fingers, etc. He just left. Martin is doing something different though. He is acting entitled and putting his welfare above others. That doesn't seem like a mental disorder to me- that seems like an entitled person who couldn't handle stress.

Im not playing off stress...I did my masters thesis on it. There were just a bunch of better ways to handle it.

yeah I dont think he has a mental illness either other than he is just trying to fit into a group of people who he would rather not.

and I actually like that aspect about him.

When I was in the Army, I became a Christian. People saw that and their conclusion was I was a nark and would rat on them for smoking pot, snortin coke, ect ect. you name it.

But really I just mind my own business. But the world around you wont let you mind your own business. I think the dude is young in mind and was listening to mom too much.

ive been there, I listened to my parents on an issue and kind of regretted it, so I understand. I just never would quit on my team or rat on them or do anything that subjects myself to not being a part of that team. But I also come from a family of 4 boys and no sisters with myself being the youngest. I was made tough by my older brothers playing ball in the front yard. I got run over. By the time I got to play at their size, I was a lot tougher than the avg. bear. But Jon Martin is not that kind of person. I just hope he finds his answers to his dilemna.

If he got smart right now, which is difficult at this point, he would call off the dogs and the NFL and say Ritchie Incognito is not a bad man, just a bit of pig (joking of course).

Let me first say I've enjoyed watching your play from Harvard-Westlake to Stanford to my beloved Dolphins. Having said that...

If you had issues with our GM and coaching staff over their adamantly moving you to right tackle; and had requested release or trade (which they denied), why not contact Mr Ross - either directly or thru channels other than say TMZ/CNN and every news and sports media entity on planet blue?

Honestly Jon, we'd all rather have our balls sledgehammered 2-3x weekly over a bed of short nails, than see our team disemboweled daily at 6 & 11.

yeah, ya know, the average person who had that trick played on them in the cafeteria would just say "well f u then!" continue eating. Eating is very important in this world.

Yea I would be like good I have friggin room to eat. Just goes to the point maturity is lacking in the NFL but I guess when you get paid millions to play a game thats to be expected.
 
I'd ask him what he really thinks of Incognito and the Dolphins, not what his Agent, Lawyer, or family thinks he should say.

Well Im pretty sure his family didnt cause him to walk out. I dont know why people find it so weird that a family supports their blood over others. In reality they have no clue outside of what MArtin has told them.

Sometimes families lead brethren down the wrong path, I've seen it plenty of times. You get 2 sides of the fence too much coddling by the parents or none at all which could lead to all kinds of issues.

I doubt any of the blame is on the family. what do they know about a lockeroom. The family seems to be supporting the son as most familes would.
These are well educated people to which the NFL culture is probably totally foreign and people using the n word back in forth and threatening family is probably not common place to them even in joking.
