Have to disagree with ya there....Palmer can still zip that ball exactly where it needs to be(On Target, with touch) and if it weren't for his receivers stinking it up on him they clearly would of beat us the last time we played them with a decent defense. I believe he's a more solid pick than Orton as a stop gap and might just shock everyone and take this team someplace it hasn't been near in a while. Brown would be a fool to not let Palmer go, he's hurting his entire team with his brat like behavior and has become the biggest problem for that team right now. A first round draft pick, I don't think anyone would ask for that or expect that but maybe a third/second? + money/compensation (meaning-we'd have to pick up his contract which I don't even have a clue of his due) along with perhaps a player trade or two...yea
If I had to choose between Palmer and Orton for same compensation and same contract, Ill agree with you. I would take Palmer over Orton. I'm still talking a 3rd or 4th though.
