Whats the deal with Carson Palmer?

Have to disagree with ya there....Palmer can still zip that ball exactly where it needs to be(On Target, with touch) and if it weren't for his receivers stinking it up on him they clearly would of beat us the last time we played them with a decent defense. I believe he's a more solid pick than Orton as a stop gap and might just shock everyone and take this team someplace it hasn't been near in a while. Brown would be a fool to not let Palmer go, he's hurting his entire team with his brat like behavior and has become the biggest problem for that team right now. A first round draft pick, I don't think anyone would ask for that or expect that but maybe a third/second? + money/compensation (meaning-we'd have to pick up his contract which I don't even have a clue of his due) along with perhaps a player trade or two...yea

If I had to choose between Palmer and Orton for same compensation and same contract, Ill agree with you. I would take Palmer over Orton. I'm still talking a 3rd or 4th though.

Mike brown is not going to move him. I think it was reported that the Redskings were willing to give Cincy 2 1st rounders or a 1st and 2nd for Ocho-Stinko a couple years ago and Mike Brown refused to prove his point.

IMO, Carson is not worth more than a 3rd round pick. His skills have declined in recent years (after his elbow injury).

thats what im talking about But if New England came calling they would give up anything like i was telling a buddy .if NE ask any team come out on the field get on your knees and suck my in front of a packed stadium they would do it all except in there division. look what the pats give for ocho a 5th rd pick ? to bad NE dont need him they would get him for a 4th

palmer is worth a 2nd he is heads above orton but if we could get him ,or could have gotten him for a 3rd and a player i would do it but until he is up for tradeit dosent matter Mr Browns dumb *** isnt going to trade him . why did he let ocho go when he had a year left on his contract ? why didnt he honor that ? bull****

I would absolutely love to get Carson Palmer. He would be our franchise QB. Then we could take advantage of having one of the top receivers in the NFL, instead of letting it go to waste with mediocre QB's.

I would absolutely trade a 2nd round pick for him.

I would consider giving up a lot for Palmer. He is the best QB that entered the season without a job by FAR. Too bad he won't get traded. I'm the only person calling for the Dolphins to go after Palmer for over a year now. I knew he couldn't possibly want to return to the Bengals.
