What's the MOST effective Game-Plan against the PATRIOTS?

It'shard to get to him even when you blitz and if you don't get there in time he'll make you pay for it. Lots of his passes are short to his backs and WR screens to the sides. Instead of blitzing I'd rush 4 and sit everyone else on those short routes. Those short passes keeps our offense on the sidelines. We need to blitz only on ocasion so their line doesn't expect it But in the end we just cant have turnovers, our kicker must make the kicks and our ST's need to win.

Ozzy rules!!

Different 1st half and 2nd half gameplans on both sides of the ball are essential, because they are great at halftime adjustments. If we have success in the first half and try to do the same thing in the second half, it's over.

FINALLY! Someone that gets what I'm saying. I think we have a tendency to "stick" to what's working. Normally, i think when you're playing anyone else named the Patriots you can get away with that. However, when you are playing them its critical to be non-conventional and discipline. Get them guessing and off balance for once!

1) Line L.Miller out wide against the slow footed Spikes
2) Bring M.Wallace inside in the Slot
3) Bring in a heavy run package formation

On D - Be physical with the NE WR and TEs at the line. Attack Brady. Take Vereen out of the game physically and force other players to beat us. We can't let him do a Sproles to us. Blitz Wheeler more to help on that front and attack Brady.

On O - take what Belicheck gives us. We are beginning to have enough weapons on O that you can't cover everyone. After last week BB will try to take away Clay by bumping him at the line etc. Might cover us like they did with Gonzolas and Jones in Atl. We need a someone like Matthews or even Thomas to step up to help Hartline in the passing game. I assume that MW will get man with help over the top.

Alot of generic stuff opinions with some being outlandish...

With Gronk out and maybe Dobson too. The Pats are going to go heavy in the run game and heavy to their RB's in the passing game (look back to Brees/sporles WK4) and hit their WR when opportunity calls for.
Dolphins need to be stout on run Defense, Croyle needs to stop stunting the DL-men. Let them play their lanes and gaps. On obvious rushing downs play WAKE-SOLAI-STARKS-ODRICK. Hopefully create some sort of a pass rush. The more the Pats are 3rd and long the better. Problem is, I do not trust this Defense. For 1, D can't stop the run, 2- LB's Wheeler and Ellerbe are atrocious. Can't cover, especially when they are going to be called up to cover RB's out of the back field. Watching their game tape, it's pretty disturbing, they fail to dissect plays and are late at locating RB's or TE's in coverage. D has also shown and continue to make 3rd and long for the opposition very easy. On the flip side, offensively, this game is going to come down to 1 unit and 1 player for the dolphins. The unit - OL can they open lanes to get the run game going. The player - Tannehill. Stop with the bloody interception. Has thrown one for 5 straight games. Needs to throw TD's. If we get 1 or 2 rushing TD's- Tannehill needs to throw 2 td passes. If not Ryan needs to throw 3 td passes in this game. No turnovers on his part.

After going through this game all week, it keep's leading me back to a Patriots victory. I feel the Pats rushing offense will control the game for them from start to finish. Pats heavy attack in the passing game picking on our LB's will prove costly and finally a Tannehill turnover (seems like he's always turnover the ball) will hurt the Fins to where they won't be able to overcome. Final score prediction - Pats 27 Fins 20

Brady knows full well that as a desparate move, he can loft it hoping for PI. Lets the refs help him win.

Get pressure with 4.
Tackle well, there will be a lot of passes thrown short of the sticks to Vareen, and edleman.
Get a turn over or 2

Score TD's in red zone.
DO NOT miss any FGs
Run it well enough to use play action
Tanne scramble when nothing is open
DO NOT turn it over

This exactly.

Watch the film for what Baltimore does against them in the playoffs. Baltimore was just able to somehow beat them up physically 2 of the last 3 years. Even in Jan 2012, Baltimore essentially had that game one but their WR flat-out dropped a TD, and then the kicker missed a chip shot (fix). That would've been 3 years in a row where Baltimore knocked NE out of the playoffs. How did they do it?
