Do you guys remember how Cameron and Sparano introduced themselves in their first press conference? My memory blows so I tried looking them up but I didn't have any luck. Basically I'm wondering, without any biases, does Philbin come off more inspiring than the other two? We all know how those two turned out but I know a lot of us were excited when they gave their introduction as well... God and it kills me how the Pats won again! I'm tired of losing each season and man would it be something if Philbin is the next great thing for us and can lead us back to dominance!!!

He certainly comes across as more intelligent. Cameron seemed so monotone, like he was on ludes. No fire. Sporano seemed like he was in over his head, not very intelligent or comfortable speaking in front of everyone. He seemed to be grasping for answers and words and was not real fluid with his answers. When I saw Philbins presser it was like, WOW!.. This guy gets it and he knows what he is doing. I am confident we give him the resources to succeed and he will. Seems like he has his s**t together. If our last coach was a meatball, this ones filet, can't wait for next season.

Wasn't impressed with either at their presser. Philbin seems very confident and I'm excited about this upcoming season

I saw in another thread someone said that these other coaches all said the same thing at their pressers, and while it's true that they all say a lot of the same things, Dave Wannstedt was pretty up front from the beginning that he was all about playing defense and ball control, keeping it close and winning it in the 4th quarter.

Am I the only one who felt a bit uncomfortable watching this?

Cam Cameron was not in favor of...I wanted Chan Gailey or Dom Caper.

With Tony, I just wanted to hear from Bill.

Two guys who have no business being head coaches in the NFL.

Philbin was impressive. If he can get us a qb, we are in good shape.

The one thing that will always stick in my mind was "we will be demanding, not deamining"......this is a real guy here and one I want to root for.

Ozzy rules!!

Not sure how much I care about their presser. Best I remember I was dancing on the ceiling after watching the Saban presser. Philbin will not be judged on how well he addresses the media OR the fans. He will be judged by how well his team performs on the field.

After Tony Saprano took the worst team in the league and put them in the playoffs I didn't remember his presser. When he started to lose games with solid talent I also didn't remember his presser. Overall I really like TS and wish him well in the future, although I agree he had to go. As for Philbin, I don't think we will give a crap about his presser. If we have back to back 5 win seasons he will be gone, good presser or not.

I think the worst overall presser in the history of pressers was Bill Belichick's. I remember pats fans hating how dry and unemotional he was. And that didn't turn out too bad for them. So I am not going to get too excited over a presser. Been disappionted too many times to get excited for that.

Cameron I was unimpressed with. Tony I thought was a little stupid, but he seemed like a pretty intense guy and I was hopeful he could get guys motivated.
