What's your take on last night's MNF intro?

I saw it and didn't really think anything of it...well, I take that back...seeing a partially nude Nicolette Sheridan was a lot better than the actual game or hearing Madden ramble on about "turdukens" or "punch balls". Is it me or has this country really gotten uptight???
 
I didn't see it last night. I didn't tune into the game until about 5 minutes left in the first quarter. I did hear all over sports radio today though. What do I think of it? I think T.O. is a bad actor.

Seriously - I think it's time to get rid of Hank Williams, Jr.
 
I didnt see it, but unless it was like full-on porno kinda stuff, I really dont see the issue here. People get into such huge, self-righteous hissy fits whenver something remotely sex-related ends up on tv. These people, IMO, need to be whupped upside the head with a blunt object (and yes, I realize I said blunt....no ricky jokes! lol).
 
The people who wrote letters complaining about it are PATHETIC. I don't see how that was such a big deal.

They're no doubt the same people writing letters about Saving Private Ryan being aired un-cut on Veteran's Day.
 
I didn't realize it had caused a stink.

Desperate Housewives plays in the exact same 9:00 timeslot on Sunday nights and I think it's the best rated show on TV right now, so it's not like no one is seeing it. The show has women losing their towels out of their house, dressing up in lingerie, doing the suds on the shirt car wash thing, having an affair with the lawn boy, etc. etc. Hasn't raised a big stink so far.

So why now? She took off her towel for a black guy.

imo, ding ding ding! we have a winner. if it was brett farve, it wouldn't have gotten this kind of reaction

I'm with you. I would just like to point out that you can't really compare the time slots. MNF is live - which means it airs at 6:00 for those of us on the left coast.
