Well mccain creates more big plays but could give up even more then wheeler would. I doubt we see mccain that much. Jenkins or Trusnik are the likely guys

Don't want to start another conspiracy thread but I am getting a feeling that Gronk might not play Sunday. His event is not listed on Cameo's schedule so his party may have been thrown together at the last minute. I can't see how Bill would allow this if he was suiting up. I bet his questionable listing is false.

It just struck me that Philip Wheeler has had all of these months to prepare for the opening game (players not playing the last preseason game to avoid injury) and then in the last few days, he mysteriously gets injured and is out. Maybe his sudden injured thumb is a good excuse to try some other players at his position. Instead of fixating on why Tom Brady missed Thursday practice and NFL Network douchebag, Heath Evans handing Belichick the Dolphin playbook 9 years ago, maybe we should be looking more at what happened to Wheeler.

Gronkowski is going to destroy us ugh. 100+ yards and 2 TDs is my prediction. I still think we can very much win but we haven't been able to cover TE's in my lifetime.

yeah idk. Gronk can't be in good football shape right now. He is gonna melt in the sun and play like 20 snaps tops. That's just my guess. They will however attack whoever replaces wheeler, but that's not too bad of a thing. I think put in the guy that they don't have any tape on, McCain.

Good, hope it's McCain, we will find out how successful he really can be. Trial by fire, if he is even a smidgen as good as we think he is, Wheeler when healed will be coming back to a backup role, if not traded.

I Thought that Mccain was a cover LB ? that he had great speed ? if so he should be able to stay with Gronk .
