When Pouncey Returns...

you get your best players on the field, and if pouncey and satele are in that list, then you get them both out there. I think pouncey would be a better guard than satele.

I'm actually really excited to see Pouncey at Center in this offense and with this OL Coach Benton. To state that the line has played better than any time Pouncey has been here is a little misleading as he has never gotten to play with the guys we now have. Satele got blown up on at least 5 plays where Moreno or Tannehill made a play to avoid his man. Argue all you want, watch the tape. Pouncey coming back, if healthy and has listened to Benton's teaching, we could see something special on the line.

ON a side note, did any one else see how bad KC's line struggled without Albert?

Seeing the obvious on tape, is Omarish, I was told. But those same people use the tape to reinforce their own bias.

Satele had a decent game. But to compare the two players you have suspend reality or any football acumen one may have.

Also, OAK ran a zbs while Satele was there. What happened? He ended up in INDY.

Interesting, but when I mentioned this a couple weeks ago not one person would entertain the idea of Pouncey to guard. Maybe it was a lack of faith in Satele, or a staid belief in the status quo. Either way, I think you leave the left side alone and put Pouncey next to James, so the line would be Albert, Colledge, Satele, Pouncey, James. Smith is clearly the bubble guy. I guess the big question is how well will Pouncey move when asked to pull.

Funny....PFF graded him out an all star.

I think some people confuse zone blocking for man blocking sometimes.

Yes....I did have to see Satele in a real game to entertain that notion.

Well that's fair, and maybe moot. Pouncey is an improvement over either one. And in the end the most likely scenario is he goes to center.
