When Puncey returns.....Could he play guard for us?

Pouncey is a better run blocker than Satele -- it would make sense, if you don't aquire anyone else, to leave Satele at Center and move Pouncey to Guard for the remainder of this season. Then next season, add two quailty Guards.

Not only does he run block better than Satele, .....Satele doesn't telegraph the snap like Pouncey.
I think is it a wise proposal to move Pouncee to guard..lol

Guess who makes the line calls that equaled 58 sacks? He had no business being in Hawaii last year after the way our line played. None. Worst o-line in franchise history. Calling him a Pro-Bowler is an embarrassment.

He wasn't even CLOSE to top 5 center last year. He was good, and we're certainly gonna miss him until he's back, but he's not tops in the league. Best in our division? You bet.

That's one of the reasons I asked the question originally..... Pouncee (LOL) at guard I believe would give us a better running game.

Any positives you get from pouncey at guard would be lost in the over matched Satale..
If your center gets bull-rushed frequently it will be a long day.

Getting the 5 best players on the line is all that matters. Having the RG bull rushed all game will be a long day as well.

Pouncey is in contract year, he would throw a fit We stuck him at guard.

If we're 4-1 and RG is the weakest spot on the line then it'll be tough to not put Pouncey there.
