When will Brown sign?

Definitely either of the first two answers in my honest opinion. I would say Ronnie Brown will sign anywhere within the next two weeks. I don't expect anything later and I don't see anyway he is not on this team before preseason is up.

Peeps,

I heard on the radio today that the agent has settled around 20 million and the dolphins still wont move...is that true? I hope not, normally I check my sources, but I can't find this in print anywhere.

I hope its this week , only because he is really killing himself . With a new coach and a new OC , ronnie might be sitting 3rd on the depth chart behind gordan an minor when the season starts and when ricky comes back gordan will probably net us a 3rd or 4th round pick in a trade ...

Hopefully Ronnie Brown speaks up and realizes this is tarnishing him. The dolphins have the upper hand. They seem stacked at RB. France needs to stop flaunting his genitals and just give in. Let the kid PROVE himself. Take the 19mil and get more for incentives. And Ronnie is a man. Just take the money and go. It's more than anyone here will make in our lifetimes.:fire:

I am guessing after the second pre season game. He will start to get ansy and the dolphins will have other numbers to go by because I am guessing the other first rounders will have signed by then.

If ricky williams has an awsome game tonight due you think that would give us more leverage on ronnie browns contract?

No. Brown's salary will be determined irrespective of Ricky Williams's presence on the team.

Fact remains why pay Ronnie Brown a ton of money if ricky is back to his old self and a top 5 back in the league? if ricky can dominate than let brown sit out until the regular season by then his pride would be hurt and he most likely would take the 19mill.

Because Ricky isn't reliable. All he has to do is leave again and we're right back to where we were LAST season. You do remember last season right? This is why you need to sign a potentially great RB like Brown.

Fine than since every doesn't seem to remember how good ricky williams was than let's say Kay Jay harris has a great game. like 200 yards combined and a couple of Tds.

I remember exactly how good he was. I get chills everytime I watch tapes of him. But he has some problems mentally that effect the way most fans look at him. If KJ Harris has a great preseason game, then he'll just remind me of Fred Russel. I don't see Harris getting too many looks in the regular season if he makes the team.

So Ronnie Brown is at fault for wanting to get paid in line with what the 2nd pick in the draft gets paid, so it's his fault that the Phins are low balling him? Stacked at RB? Ricky Williams is out the first 4 games, and I don't believe a Lamar Gordon/Sammy Morris duo in the backfield is gonna have any team worried about facing the Phins.
