Where is this rumor about Ricky coming back coming from.

I never said that having 2 good backs isnt a good thing. what I am saying is that even if anyone thinks hes coming back, Saban wouldnt keep him. I dont know about you but saban doesnt seem to be the type to put up with BS even if he has an actual problem. (hesa nut job, and an idiot rolled into one)

In the end I think people are kidding themselves if they think hes coming back.

If you want 2 good backs, go for ronnie and edge! :D

Hmm Saban doesnt want Ricky back? You need to read some transcripts. And we are not trading Ricky. We wouldnt be getting good value for him. Hes been out for a year, no one would give anything that would be worth his talent. The fact is Saban would rather have him around (like he said) than to trade him out of here because his past problems, which he wasnt apart of therefore giving him a fresh start. Your going off of speculation. Im going off of what Saban has said to the media and comparing the value of trading and keeping him on the team.

So, when can we hear your classy comments on heart disease and cancer patients as well?

Thank you for showing how hypocritcal society can be. Having a graduate degree in a psychological discipline it disheartens me everytime I here a person in the general public act like mental problems are just disorders you need to suck up and slouch off. WRONG. Mental problems are the MOST difficult to treat because there is no course of "physical" treatment.

Let me give you an example: I want you to forget where you live and where you have grown up..forget all of it starting today!! And now I want you to move someplace new and start remembering only that. That would be tough wouldn't it???

so he should be let off for what he did, because he has mental problems. "oh its all right, hes just crazy"

One of my cousins is autistic. That is a crippling mental disorder. What ricky has is bull****itis, there is a big difference. He is still in charge of his decisions, and he decided he was more important then the team, then the nfl, then the fans that root for him, then the contract he signed. Me was a selfish baby, and i dont feel sorry for him.

I look forward to hearing him ask me if i would like fires with that

Wow, your posts are repulsive and offensive. I don't have any mental problems nor do my family, but I have read and seen a plethera over time. You need to be educated on mental health and how it affects people's lives. Don't hide behind this "my cousin is autistic" BS in relation to your hypocritical views on manic depression, social anxiety, and bipolar. I'm sure there are many here who have been witness to social anxiety, bipolar, or manic depression in their own life or in a family/friend. It's arguably more debilitating than Autism, because the person who has these understands the demons they live with but can't control them on their own.

Bipolar/social anxiety is a SERIOUS disorder and far from bull****itis!! Do some reading and stop acting like an ignorant person. I'm not saying RW is completely free of responsibility, but when people imply things you have about his mental state, that is ignorance.

I'm done, not going to try and educate someone who doesn't want to admit ignorance.

We have people saying that we wont have room for Kay Jay because Ricky is coming back.

if Kay Jay cant beat out Minor maybe he shouldnt be on the team.

I never heard Saban say he wanted Ricky back. I have heard him say IF he has Value to the Team he would. That doesn't mean he will. As of right now, Ricky has no value at all in the NFL. But if he talks with Saban and agrees to a few or bunch of things, you might see him back. I wouldn't expect the old Ricky though. He needs to get back into football shape before he goes out of the field.

He will have to play some this year if he comes back to get some Value.

We just drafted Ronnie Brown. Im pretty sure he will be good.

All you people who said you would take him back are the same people that were pissed off at him. YOU cant trust a man who could do what this jackass did. I dont know what you think but any person who could do this IS NOT A MAN, hes a baby that has to have things his way.

Well, I think it is within my rights to be pissed off at him, but also that if Saban takes him back be ok with that... I am still pissed at his screwing the organization and teammates by quitting less than a week before TC when they had no recourse. Do I think that his quitting caused our abysmal record last year ?? No, but it DID affect the team adversely. Would I cheer him on if he returned ?? Yes, but because I am cheering on my TEAM, not just one of the players. Am I a hypocrit for doing that ?? No way... It's not my decision to allow him back, it's someone elses and it's organizations responsiblity to weigh the chances that he'll pull another stunt if we allow him back...Do I think he will ?? Yes..you can't teach an old dog new tricks...this is something that is part of his M.O. We, as fans have to accept that an move on. I STILL don't like the man. I STILL don't trust the man. But he STILL makes our team better playing rather than sitting in India smoking weed.

I am going to make a bold statement here whether I disagree or not!
Ricky will be back in a Dolphin uni come July!
There...I said it.

I already said He aint coming back (that was my bold statement)

So what do we do here?

Most of the pain in 2004 was the lack of a real RB to win some yardage with our "inoffensive" system. Ricky takes a ride into weedlands just 1 week before TC and we never get in the right route. But let's face it, 2004 fault is all Wanny's.

Saban wants the best available weapons, he's expecting Williams' return because of the RB depth he needs with an offensive system more passing than running but with a very large learning curve to improve.
Running systems are faster to improve specially if you have a RB like Ricky.

So Nick Saban will become a pupetmaster and one of his best pupets will be called Ricky Williams.

Except when a reporter asked him "Will the draft of Ronnie Brown descount the possibility for Ricky to return?"

His response was without hesitation "No why it? Two are better than one" Add that with him saying he has value to the organization, the people close to him saying he wants to come back and read between the lines. If you arent getting the hint your blind.

I don't know about you but I don't see him coming back. I only see a pot smoking mental case who weighs less then my sister. He was great while he was playing, I'm not debating that but hes gone and if he comes back it will be fore the child support he has to pay, and to help him with his 1000 buck a day habit.

We have people saying that we wont have room for Kay Jay because Ricky is coming back. We have people saying that Ronnie will only get 1000 yards (if he can get that behind our sorry @$$ O-line he is god) because he will be splitting time with Ricky.

Do you honestly belive that Saban is stupid enough to keep someone who only would come back for money, and has proven that he has no problem leaving a group of people he is contractually obligated to so he can smoke weed, become a photographer, see the world, go to india, go back to school, become a practitioner of alternative medicine (did I forget any).

Of course Saban is gonna say he would welcome Ricky back, I think hed love to get a 3rd rounder or better for him from any team desperate enough for a chance at a running game.

Mark my words RICKY AINT COMING BACK

Saban said IF he has value to the organization.

"Basically, Ricky is showing a lot of interest in trying to come back," Saban said by phone Friday. "I told him, 'I'm not trying to recruit you. I want you to do what you want to do. Ultimately, if you want to come back and play football, there is an opportunity for you to do that here and you have value to the organization. We have your rights.'"
