kizzaboo said:Hmm Saban doesnt want Ricky back? You need to read some transcripts. And we are not trading Ricky. We wouldnt be getting good value for him. Hes been out for a year, no one would give anything that would be worth his talent. The fact is Saban would rather have him around (like he said) than to trade him out of here because his past problems, which he wasnt apart of therefore giving him a fresh start. Your going off of speculation. Im going off of what Saban has said to the media and comparing the value of trading and keeping him on the team.
kizzaboo said:Good luck on getting a 3rd for Ricky. Isnt happening.

"2 is better than 1"
Of course that doesnt mean that he would like to have 2 premier backs in the same backfield. What a dumb idea
kizzaboo said:Except when a reporter asked him "Will the draft of Ronnie Brown descount the possibility for Ricky to return?"
kizzaboo said:
His response was without hesitation "No why it? Two are better than one" Add that with him saying he has value to the organization, the people close to him saying he wants to come back and read between the lines. If you arent getting the hint your blind.
Gitrdone said:Saban said IF he has value to the organization.

"Basically, Ricky is showing a lot of interest in trying to come back," Saban said by phone Friday. "I told him, 'I'm not trying to recruit you. I want you to do what you want to do. Ultimately, if you want to come back and play football, there is an opportunity for you to do that here and you have value to the organization. We have your rights.'"

Now if you listen to this below you will also here Saban say "IF" a ton of times while talking about Ricky.

You didn't own anything or anyone. There is nothing but "IF's" surrounding Ricky from all directions.
kizzaboo said:Thats cute. Nice to see you can point out where I said if when Saban said "if you want to come back".
Too bad we were talking about if he has value to the organization and not if he wants to come back. He has said that he does have value to the organization and has made the statement of 'if he has value to the organization.' So your point in saying if he has value to the organization is invalid because Saban hasnt been consistant upon that. Quit pulling ifs out of statements about something completely different as if your pulling them out of your A$$
Gitrdone said:He doesn't have value unless he comes back, that is the IF. Did you listen to the interview of Saban? I am not pulling ifs out of statements, its what he "Saban" himself said.
If Ricky wants to come back the door is open.
If he wants to get some help.
If he has value to us.
He is a great player, I can tell you that. But there are questions all around him. What if's. If Ricky wants to come back he will have the chance to.
If he can get help and dedicate himself to football, then he will have value to the team. But he has to want to.
I loved watching him run, I just don't know if he still has the desire to play the game anymore.
Finland said:It's been funny to watch people make posts about Ricky, assuming he is some drug addicted freak. All you know is he smokes a bit and got caught too often and was going to be suspended a year. I think the post is right on the money making us remember the Dallas parties with hookers and cocaine and the court sessions.
It is also funny to watch people trying to interpret business positionings by coaches and so forth and articles written by writers that get paid to try and get public reactions to their stories and ideas. It is just the news.
So Ricky went to India, better than not experiencing the world. And so Ricky studied a subject in school about healthy living. Wow, what a freak. Better than the players that get a 10 on the wonderlic. I think it is a joke if you can't score over 50%.
I hope Ricky makes a comeback, I hope Mike Tyson wins the belt and I hope the Dolphins will one day rise again, regardless of what our exciting, seemly great, but unproven head coach decides is best based on the real facts and current situation.
Gitrdone said:I would love to see Mike Tyson win the belt :)
I would love to see RW come back, but I want him to want to be here. Not because he needs a quick buck, but because he wants to play again.
kizzaboo said:There is no other way Saban would let him play.
Gitrdone said:Yes :)
If he were in football shape I would hate to be the opposing team facing us with Brown and Ricky in the backfield heh. A fresh RB that can dish out pain at all times in the game. Would be nice to see.
