Where the **** are you Cameron Wake? I'm calling your dissapearing *** out!

This guy was the bomb last year. This year he's getting owned by rookie and second string right tackles... Did his success go to his head? Is he a one-trick pony who everyone now knows how to handle? His performance (or lack there of) has been one of the biggest surprises to me this year. Our under-performing secondary is suffering because he's getting *****-slapped by people most of us have never even heard of. It's ****ing pathetic and if he doesn't do a 180 this season (and soon) then they need to release his sorry ***.

Edit: Yes, I know I spelled disappearing wrong. I realized it too late, sue me.

Wake is on a pace for 12 sacks,28 QB hits, and 48 QB pressures
He's currently rated as the 6th best olb in the NFL by PFF

Good lord wtf do you want/expect:err:

Cameron Wake is the sixth ranked 3-4 outside linebacker. He’s behind James Harrison, Clay Matthews Jr., DeMarcus Ware, Tamba Hall and Shaun Phillips. Wake was rated No. 3 before the bye week, and finished fourth last season.
Wake has produced three sacks, seven quarterback hits, and 12 pressures in the first four games

He is played his fanny off this year. He is the best defender.

Great, so he's the skinniest kid at fat camp. He's supposed to be a premiere pass rusher in the league. He's got 8 tackles in 4 games, ZERO tackles or sacks in the Brown's game, and ranked 105 in total tackles among linebackers. Yeah, he's got 3 sacks in 4 games, okay, but our pass rush is non-existent and it's not like he's being double-teamed every play. New England's second string rookie RT made him look average at best. He is not providing enough pressure on opposing QBs, period. Dude needs to step it up.

By calling him out, you mean you're posting a thread about him on an internet forum, just saying.

He's our best player on D. Karlos Dansby is the one who has disappeared so far to me, way more than Wake.

Yes, it's true. It's meaningless, childish and vein, I agree. But I'm frustrated because he's supposed to be the game changer that Jason Taylor used to be...

Yea, lets trade him and let JT and Misi handle the rush.

Its actually astonishing that a player on pace for 12 sacks on an 0-4 team has people that think that he deserves to be released. Is he the best OLB in the league? No. Is he a good player? Yup. Damn right he is. He is one dimensional for the most part, but that one dimension that he is very good at is a very valuable commodity in the NFL today. This thread might be the dumbest thread of the year and thats saying something.

He's not completely changing games this year but no one on our D really is.. if the FO would actually help him out and get a pass rusher or two on the other side, the times he doesn't get to the QB wouldn't be so magnified. You wouldn't be so frustrated right now if we had someone on the other side worth a damn.

Release his sorry ***? He has been disappointing this year but the guy has prob half our sacks. He d be the last guy on our D we should release.

When was JT ever a game changer. All i remember the last 10+ years is when we need a stop from the D. The other team would march down the field and score. Or if we needed a 3 and out to get the ball back they would get it rammed down there throat.

I aggree

They have figured him out. Had an offseason to study take on him.. Hence why he was playing in the CFL.
He s not a starting pitcher. You didn't need tape to figure the guy out. He used n still uses his acceleration and first step explosion to get around the T. It's not something that needed an off season to be figured out. The only thing that's been figured out is the guy is our only pass rusher and he s damn good at it so he gets full attention.

I love to see people calling out the only player on the defense who actually gives a **** and is still working his *** off.

Also consider that other elite pass rushers pick up a few sacks a year off their teammates collapsing the pocket and forcing the QB into them. Wake is not exactly getting that luxury.

We are going to have to get or coach up someone to be able to help with the pass rush.

Cam Wake is pretty good but not great. If you put him on the Steelers he gets 15 sacks. But the guy on the other side will get 14. And several more defenders will have sacks.

Jason Taylor in his prime needed help.
