I'd roll with what we got. If someone plays out of their mind and we get lucky for a change, cool. If not and we're awful then it's the 2020 draft. I'd honestly love to see a young, hungry team that lacks talent plays their asses off and lose than go through another BS middling season of frustration and disappointment.

So what if he did write some positives about Ryan. You've been on the hate wagon since 10/2018 a whole 5 months.

He spends serious time doing thorough breakdowns of the entire Miami Dolphins team.

You spend 90 % of your whole 5 months here on the forum whining about Ryan Tannehill.

    :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Lack of any real competition since day 1 management drinking their own kool aid.

In a sense you're kinda right. Management played a key role.

First thing that went wrong with Ryan Tannehill was Philbin, the second was Gase, the Third was a knee injury and the 4th was a shoulder injury. All while both coaches never ever had a sound running game and leaned too much on a QB that consistently got his arse kicked by a roman chairs O-line along with having weak pocket presence.

    All are recipe's for disaster,

Tannehill moving on is the smart move for all parties involved, but I've got a feeling he's under Center Week 1.

This right here summarizes everything better than this article. The article was an interesting read. But I would note more about Tannehills struggles to improvise and make plays when things broke down around him. When everything was perfect around Tannehill then he could deliver, but unfortunately in the NFL, it's not all sunshine and rainbows every single play.

The O line was bad for Tannehill but we have seen other QBs like Russell Wilson who have played behind a bad O line and still be able to play at a high level and make plays. Tannehill was never that guy. Tannehill wasn't horrible but he just wasn't good enough either. Over the last few years we have heard a lot of his former players bash him about not being very good. We have heard his former coaches talk about him in a neutral tone but never very high praise. Gase would make positive comments but C'mon it's Gase and he of course would never admit he was wrong.

Literally the only game where I would give Tannehill the MVP would be against the Rams a couple years ago. Even that game the MVP could be argued that DVP deserved that award.

Nice guy and I respect him and wish him the best but it's been time to move on. The league clearly doesn't think much of Tannehill and some of us have been saying this the last couple years. It's a QB league whether you like it or not.

All of those different schemes and add in the horrible OL. We really will never know if he could have developed into a top QB. However, I think that it is too late for him now. I would draft a QB and let him set behind Tannehill next season. Then draft a QB every year until we have our QB

In my younger days I knew everything too. The older I get the more I learn how little I actually know. I blame you and some of the other fintastic posters on this website for that.

    Social media is the devil.

I agree with ya except for the fact that we never had a sound running game. We had a pretty damn good running game at times. Look at 2016 after the slow start to the season when we went more power, run heavy with Ajayi. That approach got us into the playoffs weak schedule be damned. Tanny is that QB that can flourish in a run heavy offense where he only has to do so much. He isn't a feature QB. What disappointed me the most with Gase was the fact that he adjusted his offense in 2016 to benefit the team rather than the QB. Maybe Cutler in 2017 screwed his mentality or something, but in 2018 he never seemed to lean on Drake. Gore definitely got his share, but Gase always abandoned the run no matter what the situation.

He definitely doesn’t have the “it” factor, but he can make some plays with very good protection. But then again, who can’t? He lacks the pocket awareness, doesn’t have the killer mentality, still hears that three second whistle and throws the ball away too often. I do attribute some of his flaws on poor coaching and some of them may be fixable, even at this stage in his career. He could be a decent back up in Philly where Foles was credited with the system working for him, that system might work for Thill. He is a decent backup anywhere he lands.

No truer words were ever spoken. The only thing I do know is that I don't know sh!t.

As per the thread, dunno anymore where it went wrong for Tanne. Was it from the very beginning, the middle, somewhere in between?

A better question is will there ever be an ending? God please let there be an ending. More Tanne threads and

    You mean this one? https://www.lockedondolphins.com/dolphins/charting-ryan-tannehill-2018-week-14-vs-new-england/

Where I simply told you how he performed that day when he played his best game of the year? There are links to all the other charted games in there too. You can find plenty of criticism too.

I argued against people that would tell anyone they could find how awful Ryan Tannehill was this offseason because MOST of their arguments were completely void of any logic. I never shied away from telling you where he comes up short. He had the worst year of his career in 2018 - bottom line. And now he's done. So, good for you, I guess. You sure showed the team that you apparently root for.

    Cool story. Solid contribution.

Man he was not trying to hear Garrard at all after he took that stupid dive lol. Tannehill seems like the typical dumb jock dude to me. If I’m him I would just retire and enjoy his awesome life and not take anymore hits
