Which Phins Does the Forum Really Like?

Although "revered" is somewhat overstated, it was used to make a point on the views of others. The word is used for a great deal of respect to being in awe. Anyone, with a reasonable IQ, wold understand it's usage here.

First, it was you saw nothing. Now , it's vocabulary, which you are far from capable to correct me on.

Why not just blind others with your "brilliance" on threads by others?

So...You admit that you used the wrong word.

I understand fully, the context in which you meant it. It was a misused word. I don't think you really understand words.

The only way that you would have used the word correctly is by utilizing it in a device for sarcasm, which, you just told
me and everyone, that you didn't do by saying you "somewhat overstated" by using it.

You didn't somewhat overstate. You used the word incorrectly, and everyone can see it. The views of others tend to be,
according to the thread you linked to, more accurately described as "satisfied".

Hickey is not held in "awe"...

Unless you don't know what that word means either.

A great deal of respect is entirely different that awe, and the word is used in both regards. Overstating for effect is used often in every form ow writing but, that is something you would not be aware of as it has to do with context, and not vocabulary.

Can you just stop your nonsense, and try posting about something you know about, whatever that may be?
You used words out of context, and, no matter how you backtrack, and shy away from what you did, you
are on record.

You said Hickey is held in reverence. Do I need to go back and quote it?

Utilization of literary device an only be achieved when one actually knows what words mean.

I also think hartline should be well respected he is our first back to back 1000 yard WR in quite some time. Not a #1 but people usually have limitations. Still mastered route running and very dependable

Yea it was all the way back in 2011 the last time it happened lol

I also don't think anyone thinking clearly reveres a guy that has had one offseason without seeing any results.

I do remember last year some trying to act like Ireland was a genius for his free agency and draft.

So, in that context, was Ireland "revered by some" as being a genius? Just playing. lol

I hijacked my own thread, and have to delete this nonsense. LOL

My biggest problem is many having no patience at all with many players. For whatever reason, some thing a rookie has to perform in his first year, and new players should just fit right in to a new team and system. It just does not happen that often.

Hickey, new players, new coaches have a clean slate in my book. I just hope they can contribute and am optimistic.

My personal favorites are Grimes, Hartline, Wake. Clay, Vernon, Odrick are coming along nice. I think Jordan has potential and shouldn't be written off just yet. I think they may have to get creative to maximize Jordan's talent. The most important of them Tannehill, I'd say more good than bad, not out of the woods but I like his chances of becoming a good maybe even an elite QB someday.
