which player u think the dolphins will regret cutting the most and why?

I really wish would would of kept Larry Johnson. We have youth in Bush and Thomas it would of been great to have back like Johnson that has the potential to put a All Pro flashes on the field if needed. But now Thomas needs to figure things out, its not going to be easy for him because he playing behind a line thats also trying to figure things out.

Whoah did you watch the last game? Talk about slow. He has no speed whatsoever. Hillard made a great block on his outside run and it was great play call. Dude is slow as molasses.

whoever new england signs. bellicheat will mine them for a couple weeks if he can't use them for anything else.

I will not answer that question because it is negative just like this whole thread.

Lets not forget that Allen hasn't played a regular season game since early 2009 and missed a lot of this training camp because he was hurt. He did shine, but it was against 2nd and 3rd string players who a lot lost their jobs today also. Not real shocked that he was cut, and it is surprising that some of you are shocked. Is it sad? Yes. Could he have made the team? Yes, but he was always a bubble player.

Let's not forget that Allen was ready to play last year and the Dolphins decided to put him on IR instead of letting him play or releasing him to play elsewhere...

They probably will miss Polite the most ... especially on 3rd and 2 .. and 4th and 1

Dude was MONEY on these.

Devlin. I really hope he clears waivers and we can
put him on the PS. I think that a couple of years of development and the kid will be good.

Honestly, I don't think we will regret cutting any of these players. People flipped out when Douglas and Grant were cut last year and did we regret cutting them? No.

With that being said the roster these guys assembled only mustered a 7-9 record and you could argue that their "roster churing" which we all know will take place over the next few days cost special teams dearly. Hell, ST was a big part of 2 of those 9 losses last year.

Devlin

We let Drew Brees go, we missed on Mat Ryan, we had Devlin in our hands. Devlin will become a starter in this league. We could have had our Franchise QB, or at least a starter better than Henne. Now we have no one for the future--we'll have to put all our marbles on Henne for the next few years. We suck.

Devlin
Allen
Polite

and keeping CoDumbo will absolutely kill us

Polite on 4th and 1 especially if it isw the goal line. It will cost us a game. Will Allen next if we do not have a playmaker in the secondary. Livas on returns. Spears if JT and or Wake go down as we have no real pass rushers after that.

I would say none. Not to diminish what some of these players have done, but I think the right decisions were made. Some will make it to the practice squad, a few others are far from safe as well. A few more roster moves are sure to come (tight end?).

What are you smoking???

Allen is the biggest surprise, I know he has been hurt but he showed Friday that he just flat out knows how to play and is in position all the time. His football IQ is superior to our starting CB Sean Smith who finds himself out of position frequently. Allen in my opinion is a mistake to cut while keeping carrol who has showed nothing including last year. Other than that we do not need 8 lineman in a 3-4 scheeme and need a true starter at RT. We need to trade a DL for a solid RT and cut Jerry he does not deserve to make this squad.
