The biggest impact on Miami sports?

Went with Manning b/c I don't care about the other two. Now if I was a local fan, I'd prob say the Heat b/c James and Wade should still be with the team for years to come whereas Manning won't be with the Dolphins (or anyone else for more than a few years). Reyes? The Marlins weren't one Reyes away from being a World Series team anyway so I don't think he's as important.

Without a doubt it is LeBron James. The only reason Peyton will receive votes because this is on a Miami Dolphins website. Manning is of course one of the greatest QBs ever, but he is past his prime, we do not know what condition he is in, or how much he can contribute. LeBron was one of, if not, the biggest free agents to ever hit free agency, in any sport. The summer of 2010 in the NBA was one of the largest free agent talent pools ever, in any sport, and LeBron was on the top of that list. LeBron James has a chance to go down as one of the greatest NBA players ever, and while Peyton has the same distinction in the NFL, the difference is LeBron played his prime years in South Florida. IF Pujols were to sign with the Marlins this past winter, and Manning signed next week, Manning would be third on the list.

LeBron by 5 million miles. He gives the Heat a chance to win multiple titles, while Manning will be around for 2 years tops until the Dolphins have to worry about sucking for the next great college QB.

No offense this is a silly poll. The possible 2 to 3 year rental of manning is not even close to the signing that Lebron is.

Peyton.

1.Football is king. 2. If you told anyone a year ago that Peyton wouldn't be a Colt, and the Dolphins would be on his final list of teams he is interested in, I would not have believed it.

Is this really up for debate?

Its clearly LeBron...

The Marlins... in two years everyone will forget that we have a baseball team in Miami again and that brand new building will be empty yet again

Wow cnat believe some people on this site that think signing a 35 year old manning is a bigger signing than lebron

Especially crazy since Lebron and Co made it to the Finals in year one and already have a conference championship on the shelf to show for it. But I forgot, as soon as the Dolphins get Manning we go from a team with three straight losing seasons to an instant Super Bowl contender. Yet I think the Dolphins won't be matching the Heat's success in year one, despite the fevered dreams of the fandom. And the Manning signing has the looming potential of blowing up in the franchise's face, something that we already know hasn't happened with Lebron.

Until LeBron actually wins a title; I gotta go with Shaq.

Peyton has the pedigree (a title) so hes second.

Just win baby...........
