Which Wr will have more Yards.....

Look at the QBs he has had :o If Chris Chambers had had an above average QB then he would have had a 1,000 yard season.
Moulds still had over 1,000 w/ Flutie and Rob Johnson while having a running by committee and a horrible OL.

If they had equivalent QBs and I had to make a bet, I would guess that Moulds would have more yards than CC. However, I have such little faith in Losman this year, even less than in our QB situation, that I'm inclined o guess CC will have more.

i dont even think chambers will be the leading reciever on our team. I have a good feeling that Boston is going to step into the role of go-to reciever. But no doubt one of these two guys will have a better season than the sophmore slumping Evans and the rickety old man: Moulds.

BILLS SUCK :fire:

While that's the popular perception, take a look at both of their career stats. Both have only played 6 seasons including last year when Boston didn't play a down. Boston still has more yards, td's, and a better ypc ratio. Even his last year in San Diego, when he was playing at 265lbs., he caught 70 passes for 880 yards in 14 games. That's the same season that LT2 caught 100 balls. The talent is still there, he just needs to stay healthy. Don't get me wrong, I think Booker is talented too. He just got a raw deal in Chicago. Playing for a crappy team, with a front office that didn't like him either. Not a good situation to play within.

Given 80 or so catches, each of them would go over 1,000 yards. While I don't think it's likely, if we throw for 4,000 yards this year, two of our three starting receivers could have 1,000, the third about 650, McMichael about 700, Ronnie about 400, and 250 split up between everyone else.

Jerry Rice has better stats than anyone in the game, would you take him over Chambers this season?

The more important question is would you take him over Moulds? :rofl3:

I used Chambers because he's the lesser wr between the 3 , Moulds, Evans and Chambers

This is true. Chambers is a good wr, but has proven nothing. Until he does, I'll take both my guys before him.

You have a point Moulds has proven that he is an aging WR on the downside of a good career.

He was 41st in the league last year in yards per catch,

41st

He also proved to the among the least dangerous scoring receivers in the league - 5 TDS in 88 catches is among the lowest TD percentages of the top 50 WR's last year

He only got his 1,000 yards because of the number of times they threw him the ball

But keep hanging on to past glory

He has become a possession receiver.

Further, his yards per catch has been declining each of the past 6 years

BTW, you say that Chambers hasn't proven anything so you would rather have Evans - what the hell has Evans proven?

I'll take past glory over no glory any day. By the way, Moulds just had another 1,000 yard season, so I'll take present glory. Possession receiver? LOL, moving on.

What has Evans proven? Uhhh, that he can amass 900+ yards and 9 touchdowns his ROOKIE year as a #2 guy?

Try 840 yards for Evans, not 900+.

And what does that prove exactly -CHAMBERS HAD MORE YARDS HIS ROOKIE YEAR, and he only started 7 games.

BTW, Moulds stats for last year are the very definition of a possession receiver. Get over the past - 7 years ago Moulds had 20 yards per catch, now he has 11.

These are just facts, sorry if you have a hard time dealing with them.

You probably don't know much bout the bills. To prevent Drew from getting sacked, Moulds was made to run 5-10 yds routes from scrimmage. A role he usually didn't play since he was always the deep threat.

In doing so, he attracted double teams up the middle which allowed Evans to break away and gain the long yards and TD's.

See my first post. I'm still willing to bet teams will need to double team Moulds. Inspite of being the main focus of db's , he's still caught for over 1,000 yds. Teams this year will have to decide on who to double team, Moulds or Evans? This is why I think Mularkey took Parrish for another weapon up the middle and since Reed hasn't lived up to expectations ( Then again he was injured.)

Only one player was able to guard Moulds in single coverage on a consistent basis and that was TY LAW.

It should be an interesting year for our wr's.
