Who do you think starts the season at qb

I agree with the fact that AJ should be given the nod.

The guy had 0 help on offense. Lets face it, we had no running game at all, and an offensive line that couldnt put a hole through a wet paper bag.

We have a re-tooled O-Line with far superior coaching this year, and some kid named Brown that is gonna tote the rock for us. Now teams wont just put 8 in the box, and sit on the run, or bring some serious blitz on every on every passing play, due in part to the versatility that Brown and Linehan now bring to this offense. We will have a playaction that the defense could actually bite on for once.

Look at Brady. He makes smart decisions with the football and he throws it acurratly to his recievers and backs and lets them make the plays. Feely has the tools to be a good QB, but he needs to smarten up with the football when its in his hands.

I think this year we will see a vast improvement in AJ because he will have more than 2 seconds before he gets turned into turf paste. Lets not forget, Feely was pretty nicked up last year due to the pummeling he endured throughout the season. Im not sayin the AJ Feely is a franchise QB, but I do think that he will be good enough to run the Miami Dolphins offense this year, and possibly for several years to come based on his performance.

Feely will be the proclaimed starter going into camp, from there it is his job to lose. I do think the new staff will get the best out of him and maybe mold him into the starter that we need him to be.

i know its way too early to tell who is going to win the starting job, but what are your opinions. i hope aj starts, but i ultimately think that gus will only because he already knows the offensive system.
whoever gives us the best chance to win.

Whoever throws the better deep ball...(The Gus Bus)....

Behind a solid OL, and a running attack, Feeley will be fine.....

Nobody could have survived with what Feeley had last year. He proved that he can take a beating. Most of the poor decisions he made last year were a direct result of no protection, and no ground game.....

PHINZ RULE!!!

Frerotte. Remember Feeley is only on this team because of Wanny and Speilman. If it weren't for them he'd be gone. As Frerotte was signed AFTER Saban became head coach. If Feeley beats him out than so be it, however I think Frerotte will win the job. I also have been thinking latley than another QB may come available soon that could take it from both of them....stay tuned!

Doesn't that mean that Saban should have drafted a QB in the second round? Or is Berlin going to be the next Tom Brady?

i really dont like our QB situation, i still think we should have picked up a free agent.

Pretty easy to say, but what FA QB would YOU have signed that is better than Feely or Frerotte? Seriously, who?

feeley is not the answer and never will be. I hope chambers84's prediction comes true.

TRADE FOR A FRANCHISE QB. Do SOMETHING to address the most important position on the field.

Yeah cuz teams with franchise QBs are just dying to trade them away. I know, let's call Indy and trade for Peyton Manning.

Man, I sure hope your right. Gus is not bad, but I can easily see Brock beating out AJ. Saban is someone who is not gonna keep AJ around and force him into the system just b/c we wasted a 2nd round pick on him.
I hope we do bring in someone else just so there will be competition at the QB spot. But I see Gus QB-ing us this year and then Saban bringing in someone else next year.

No but teams can't afford two. SD possibly has two and a trade is not out of the picture. Ramsey in DC is also someone who could be moved. I'm not 100% sold on him but he COULD pan out to be a pretty good QB. He is certainly better than what we have now.

DUH!!! My grandmother is better than AJ, and she has been dead for 4 years.

I would've preferred to see Mike McMahon signed, atleast if he beats out Aj for the job, he could end up being more than a stop gap Qb. I think Gus will win the job, and I think it's ridiculous to believe that they'll wait around for Aj to develop, if he does not get it by the end of the season I think he'll have a fine career as a backup QB somewhere else. Gus knows Linehans system, and I really don't care what was invested in Aj, if Guys is the better player than I want him to start. The more I think about it, the Phins have possibly the worst Qb situation outside of Cleveland.

I think Gus will start this year, next year we will try and draft or sign a big name free agent QB and AJ will be a backup with us unless he can land a starting job elsewhere.
