Who does Saban want to bring in to help our secondary?

Schulters....no doubt about it.

Our DB's will be fine. Howard and Daniels can play opposite Madison. It's the S position where we're weak IMO. Adding a guy like Schulters, and teaming him up with T. Jones would be our best move IMO....

Forget about dealing with Law coach Saban, and make Schulters the newest Phinz addition. Side note to Randy Mueller...This is you're wake up call!!!! Get to work!!!

PHINZ RULE!!!

Im going to go with neither.

Both are old and we have a very capable FS on the roster in Yeremiah Bell IF he stays healthy. Also, we dont need to bring in a STARTING CB just because Poole got injured. I am confident in Howard/Daniels/Edwards as our #2/3/4 CBs heading into this year. What we need is a #5 vet CB for depth.

We dont need to pay Ty Law unless he comes in for the vet min. Howard might be getting the boot next year, which he should unless he emerges as the outright starter, which means we might be looking at a young CB in the draft rather than trying to retain Ty Law's services. Same can be said for Schulters although Lance would have more shelf life than Law. Tebucky is aging also so we might be looking for a SS in years to come.

If I had to pick anyone, I would take T-Buck and bring him in as the #5 CB for depth. If I had to choose between Schulters and Law, I would take Schulters for a year.

Daniels is underrated, we don't need another CB.

Lance Shulters

You know, this might sound silly, but you can always type two sentences or two thoughts in one single post.

If everyone typed each sentence in a single post or each idea in a single post, wow, this place would be a complete mess.

i would have to say Law, when he is healthy there is no one better. He can serve as a tremendous role model to our young secondary. Plus it would make Madison happy.

Schulters would be a longer term addition, so if I had to choose between them both, I say Lance!

Man, had we waited, we could have Lance by now instead of Tillman.

Assuming that things are equal financially, I still take Seargent Shultz! ;) He's coming off an injury but not nearly as severe as Ty Law's, IMO...then again, if both accept a one year minimum contract, why not sign both!? :goof: I can say this because we are allowed to create all types of fantasy football type scenarios on this site. hehe.
