Who forgives ricky for what he did?

meh if he plays like he's capable of i don't care...and i'm sure the dolphins don't care either if he has the ability to put up 1000. winning can cure a lot of ailments

For some people............however, it's no certainty we're going to win a ton of games, let alone a SuperBowl in the two season Ricky only wants to play. And if indeed we don't do anything spectacular with him in those two seasons, we will have finally seen that he was just in this to erase his debt.

You don't know that..........and I don't buy into that argument one bit. One more dysmal season, not making the playoffs would have spelled certain doom for Wanny & Co. The fanbase was just too irate at that point to endure anything else.
For the same reason that I don't know that, you don't know that I'm wrong. We very well could have been seeing Wayne H take the "poor Wannstedt" approach. It was a pretty unlucky season for him.

True I don't know for sure either.........but the writing was on the wall.....especially having not made the playoffs for consecutive seasons.

Never in my life even if we win 5 super bowls with him as our running back.

Yet we would've been competitive........and I love that alot more than watching a weekly a*s whoopin'........
I love it when my team wins as much as the next guy. 8-8, and I bet we wouldn't be sitting here feeling as comfortable about our RB situation.

Who's comfortable? In the most optimistic side of the spectrum perhaps. However, there's alot more to the success of our running game than a couple of names.......one of which hasn't even played a down of pro football and the other a man who abandoned it at one point.

I'm optimistically comfortable with our runningbacks, as well as with the direction our offensive line will go. Not that there's any proof that I'll be right. Everything is speculation before the season gets going.

im still pretty pissed at him for ruining 2004 but ill be willing to forgive and forget if he leads us to a winning season or rushes for like 800 yards at least or something. :goof:

look everybody deserves second chances but it's just the way he did it hey you want to retire fine just do it after the season so we can draft a rb.more people i think were more pissed about the timeing than anything atleast thats what really pissed me off i just don't think he can be trusted.

Coming to Miami was his second chance. Now everyone wants to give him a 3rd chance?

I agree, he can't be trusted. I don't think I let him touch the ball much when he first comes out. Nor do I give him the ball with the game on the line...

WH said it himself, that after signing Wanny to an extension, he expected nothing less than the playoffs. He is a loyal owner, but the line was drawn, the extension meant nothing if nothing improved. If anyone thinks he is too loyal, I suggest you look back at when he forced Shula's hand, by bringing in the most sought after coach in JJ.

Wanny sure aint no Shula.

The question is who forgives ricky for what he did i for one if and when he does comes back i will support it but i will never ever buy another ricky thing again.maybe it's just me but i have mixed feelings one part wants to forgive him the other half wants to say screw him i guess he will have to regain that trust and respect back with his teamates first and then with the fans.myself i will cheer for anybody in a fins uniform hands down but i don't know maybe im just confused.

The second chance already came and went though. He was considered a cancer in the Saints locker room.

The timing, and the blame he put on everyone else, and everything else, but nothing on HIMSELF.

He blamed Wanny, the Owner, then disses the NFL by saying their drug policies are to easy to get around, while placing his foot in his mouth after his third failed test in less than a year. I'm surprised he didn't blame his pharmacist.

Then he further dissed the players union by saying that a boat load of players do it all the time.

If that ain't a sign of mistrust I don't know what is.

signed boo freakin hoo
