It would be as equally as sad to look at a similar poll which read "Who has been the best QB of the decade?". Put the QB and HC polls together, and you get the biggest reason of why we've been so horrible this decade. Teams who have questions marks at both positions year in and year out will never go anywhere.

Sprinkle in the worst GMs in the game and a new owner who doesnt give a ****.

"Guys need more time in the system."

"Coaches need time to get their players in."

I would feel comfortable with our next HC being a proven winner Bill Cowher needs to be no.1 on the list this off-season.

Im iffy on a "proven" HC. The game has changed so much in just the past few years. Id take Cowher happily over Sparano but i wouldnt mind looking around at current coaches first.

A good college coach. He's unproven in the NFL.

Well what's the criteria? Is it whose best at coaching? Or is it who've the Dolphins had the most success under?

If it's the former, I think Saban is the best coach on that list. Meaning you take two identical teams and give them an off-season under each coach I think Saban's team wins.

If it's the latter, Wannstedt has the better win percentage at 58% with a 42-31 record, & playoff appearances in his first two seasons; 1 win. Sparano's win % is 52% with a 25-23 record with 1 play-off appearance. Kind-of a push.

:bobdole:

This right here just makes me want to **** my pants.

I'm going Jim Bates and I actually mean it. Wow. Madness.

Sparano now has a losing record. 25-26

Cam Cameron had the right idea. He got us Jake

If Sparano lands Luck he could be #1

1.Wanny was given the keys to a team that was stocked with some players from Shulas regime and from Johnsons regime. It was a pretty decent team that lacked a great QB, but had an excellent defense and pass rush. When you have great players, you win.

2.Saban had to start from scratch, and blew up the team. The progress was noticeable, but he bailed out on us. Not enough time to truly evaluate.

3.The scattered parts of a team plus the poor drafting during Cameron regime lead to the 1-15 debacle.

He got us long but could have got us Matt Ryan

Well that's because the Miami Dolphins can't even suck right... but it's not their fault..

It's all ESPN's fault.... the national media and vegas just keep whiffing and completely missing the boat when it comes to the Dolphins.
