Who is frank middleton

For years we've had smaller lines. Mark Dixon was about the only guy who could get away with being at or under 300 pounds. Man he was good when he was on the field.

Having these big bodies is going to be quite advantageous. Just imagine being an opposing lineman or linebacker in the 4th quarter of a September game at Dolphins Stadium. It's 3:15 PM. The sun's still overhead. Three quarters of battle in the sweltering heat is going to wear you down.

But the big boys in white across from you are used to this. They're not tired. Nor are the dangerous stable of running backs behind them, who've been rotating all afternoon. And they're all gonna keep hitting you. It's something that can break people.

Wait until Kansas City gets here in late October. It's still gonna be hot. And Ricky will be back splitting time with Ronnie. And regardless of the strides they've made defensively, they're still weak upfront.

I remember Oakland coming here in Week 15 of 2002 on their way to the Super Bowl. They had this big bad run defense. And when the 4th quarter rolled around, Tim Ruddy was throwing big Sam Adams to the ground as Ricky Williams punished the exhausted Silver and Black.

It's always hot down here. And very few visting players can deal with it.

How about this, for the last several years we have been terrible come November and December because we didn't play well enough to get homefield. Imagine at the end of a long season we are the ones staying home and teams have to come to our house and beat us in the heat instead of us trying to beat them in the cold. I think we could get the edge to swing our way. And control our destiny.

its to bad our home field advantage is much stronger in sept and oct, we would be onto something there if it stayed 90 throughout the year here

It was disgusting to watch.

Cowart had like 5 sacks in the 1st half. He might have broken the record. Then, after the play is over, Here comes Middleton. Cowart wasnt even looking, walking away and he dove at Cowarts Ankle.

cowart was playing on a Ray lewis level before that injury, he was ok w/ the Jets but never great again.

As an outsider, I will say this. He is a good football player, but a cheap shot artist.

GOOD! I'm not saying that I approve of cheap shots, but this Dolphin line needs some REAL bad attitude on it.
