So Gase is only responsible for good moves but Grier and T Baum are responsible for the bad moves?

I call B.S

yeah last offseason wasn't the best so tbaum has to get some credit for this one going so well so far, if we get timmons tomorrow and some other depth I'll say its a great success pre draft, hoping we can get odrick too at a good price. Thought he was really good vs the run when he was here.

You may have a point. Maybe the difference with Gase is that he is a better communicator than Philbin. Instead of the Three Stooges, we now have the Three Amigos. Kind of make you want to sing, doesn't it... Ay, yai, yai, yai ... ;-)

Ok, ok... it's damn early and I haven't had my coffee yet... :-)

I think it could be that the 3 of them have finally learned how to share toys while they play in the sandbox.

Maybe it's because 0% of People on this board actually know what's going on behind the scenes but 98% pretend to...

Last offseason?

While I am certainly no Tbum apologist.

We did land a LT much later then expected who this coaching staff is calling a "Legend" already.

That alone in itslef, worthy off-season.

This.

And while they are pretending, its Mike who is their constant dead horse prop due to his past with the Jets.

Has anybody ever considered the possibility that Tanenbaum's moves with the Jets that get so much flack may have had more to do with Rex Ryan than himself? Since Gase got here it seems like T-baum has worked well within Gases vision for this team. Rex, while a fantastic defensive coordinator, never seemed to have too much of a vision moving forward for the team's he coached. Maybe having a forward thinker to work with at HC we're seeing what he's really capable of in a management role. Just a thought.

Chambers has multiple threads, which offer a ton of insight with regard to how decisions are made now vs when Philbin was here.

Philbin's disinterest in prospects was a key takeaway. He didn't provide the feedback necessary for a GM to build the team he wants. Gase, by contrast, is very involved and presents a clear picture for what he wants from each position.

To this point, I don't think Tannenbaum has been great or bad. It's certainly an improvement over past FO's, who spent big on top FA's. If the FO isn't able to add premium defensive talent in this draft, I'll unleash my pessimism.

Its easy. Whoever you like gets credit for the moves you like and whoever you don't like gets the blame.

What I'd like to know is out of the big 3 in NY circa 2009/2010 who was most responsible for the back to back championship games? Tannenbaum? Sexy Rexy? SANCHEZZ!!?!?!

I am starting to change my tune. Tannebaum is actually starting to grow on me.
