My backup plan w/b Jay and a #1 pick as backup

or if someone like Kitna were cut Kitna and a #1 pick as backup

u could be right on Hellion. if Ogun is dealt for a number one to someone in the top ten then i see us getting Ben Rothlesberger and putting Sage as the #2 after we cut Jay/Griese (signing Sage to a new deal) and giving the rook some serious time in the preseason keeping Brunell fresh.
It doenst necessarily have to be Ben but this is what i could see happenin.

Excluding all the what if's and near improbable pick up's in FA for the QB spot, I think Brunell would be the best and we have a good chance of getting him. We will get a good scrambler in him and in case our line doesn't shape up or we get a key injury on the O-line that makes it a little weak, he would be out best choice.
