Who thinks Ricky is a liar?

is there any way that we can hold ricky's rights and not allow him to play?? if we can that's what i would do. no love for ricky
We can definitely hold his rights and not allow him to play for anyone else but us... the Lions did just that when Barry Sanders wanted to return but not play for them.

We sure can... the lions wouldn't let Barry Sanders go anywhere else when he wanted to return.

Enough with this crap already. It has no place on the boards and this is the second or third time we've had to see this post. Mods please do something about this and about this member...

Relax. I was kidding.

Like I posted a couple of days ago, I'm really starting to feel bad for the guy. He is obviously not doing well in the head. One of his friends or someone he respects needs to sit him down, bring him back to earth, and take him to get some help. I don't think Ricky has any idea what he's doing right now.

I don't mean to bring this idiot up again but, he's gone and stuck his head out of the smoke again, this time to tell the world that he wants to be a Raider in 2005.

Even after all his declarations of feedom and what he said about his body being abused, he all of a sudden wants to play again. And not just for any team, he wants to play for the Raiders, who just so happen to employ Norv Turner as their headcoach. Yes, the same norv Turner who called the plays that Ricky claimed he'd had enough of.

Okay so maybe the dipsh*t, had second thoughts about how long his fortune would last if he wasn't toting the rock for a living. Can't fault him for that, you could even call it a moment of clarity in his bizarre state of mind. Yet, there is still contradiction in his desire to play with the undesirables.

Correct me if I'm wrong here but, the Oakland Raiders do play in the NFL right? And the NFL has said that Ricky is going to pay a million and half dollars before he plays again along with a 4 game suspension along with a substance abuse program that says he will be tested up to 10 times a month.

Doesn't sound like "freedom" is going to be had in this new "want" that Ricky has. And I'm pretty sure that Norv 's middle name is not "The Truth", so unless Carl Williams is on the coaching staff with the Raiders, I think Ricky is a liar.

I think he's saying something so incredibly stupid and out of left (pot) field, just to aggravate and stick it to the Dolphins and their fans, for the poor treatment he's gotten since annoucing his decision to quit.

Before you say, "What poor treatment?", remember who we're talking about here. Mr. Me Me Me.

I find it completely believable that, in his own mind, he has turned himself into a victim from all the backlash. He probably thinks that he was right, and we didn't love him for anything more than getting a first down on 3rd and 1. He probably used the death threats and harassment of his charity orginization by the least common denominator of Dolphins fans, as fuel for his poor-me attitude, and this is his way hurt back.

As if he didn't hurt us enough.

Ricky is a liar and a fraud and anything he says should be regarded with scepticism and contempt. Him saying he wants to play for Norv and the Raiders is nothing more than attempt to twist the knife in the Dolphins' side and pour gasoline on the fans' fire.

Ignore him until next year and then sell his @ss to the highest bidder. Case closed.
Two words.... Milli Vanilli.

About Norv however, he knows how to build an O and wouldn't necesarily overuse RW like he did w/ the fins because he had no choice. Wanny ignored the O and kept building the D. If anything RW was smacking Wanny and not Norv.

 Bravo inFINSible, I agree 100%, could not have said it better myself.

Ricky wants to be a Raider? Dumb Ganja smoking s**thead, Now because of this I can expect to hear from friend here at work, and how much greater the Raiders are....:fire:

I agree justa, I don't even think it's a shot at Norv at all, I think it's a calculated attempt to start more controversy between the fans and the Dolphins' orginization, and specifically Dave Wannstedt.

I'm just trying to do my part to thwart his plan. :D

The only way your ever gonna do that is, think like him. Get into his mind. Be in the same mindset.
Wait, you're :redeye: . So you're halfway there. No if we could get you to wear a bridal gown, you will be free.

You are right on the money with your article. I think the smoking has gone to rickys head. I say the heck with him and hold on to his rights to the highest bidder.

Williams cited the Raiders' strong offensive line as a reason he likes the Raiders.

So now Mr. Walking Contradiction serves up a softball like this....

Hey Ricky, I thought you said a great running back can make a great line?

So, now that's not true huh?

Or maybe you're not as good as you thought you were?

Or maybe you're talking out of your @ss, as usual, because, while your voice keeps changing, your breath still smells the same.

I think we can only hold his rights for 3 years after retirement. But who would want a 30 year, out of football, pot smoker for a running back. THE RAIDERS. Get a number one now for him and be done before he changes his mind.

That is crap.......How could we live with ourselves?

Ricky screws us....and we accomadate him?

I don't think so....we must screw him.

I think it should me more along the lines of "he screwed us... let him screw someone else"...

IF we could get something for him (heck, a conditional 7th), by all means, do it... a 1st rounder? In a heartbeat.

Don't think it's going to happen, though...
