Who to root for in week 1?

Should root for the Jets because your guys are going to be fighting with the bills for the AFC East crown.
 
I am surprised to see so many say they will root for the Bills. Although the rivalry between us isn't like it was, I guess everyone hates the Jets more.
 
I will always hate the Jets more because they play here in New York, so it is huge when the Dolphins play them, however, when we play the Bills, it is like playing another divisional rival, however, it is even bigger when the Fins play those dirty Jets.
 
since we have had so many problems with the jets lately, we have to root for the bills...i hate both teams but i definately hate the jets more...

I totally agree, do you remember FRED SMERLAS from the BILLS? That FREAK used to talk so much garbage and NEVER made a play! I LOATHED HIM!!! As for the JETS, I can't wait until someone from the PHINS to lay out that little freakin leprechaun CHREBET!!! I'll be rooting for the BILLS in WEEK 1!!!
 
i'd have to go with the bills because.....

i have met several bills fans that i can talk to, i have yet to meet a civilized jet fan. i think the bills will be better this year anyway. the dolphins and bills might be competing for the division title but i loathe the friggin little green airplanes with a passion!:rolleyes:
 
I won't be cheering for either team to win. I'll just be hoping that the Jets lose. If there were a way for both teams to lose, I'd chose that option. Maybe a 0-0 tie with a ton of unforced fumbles and incompletions.
 
I want the Jets tobe 2-0 when they come to town, for two reasons...1) So the Bills lose and New England loses 2) So we can smack that 2-0 smile off their faces when we flex on 'em.

We have to be pragmatic about this. I hate both teams along with the Patriots (lest we forget the snowplow caper). I hate the Jets more than both others combined right now. But if we have to get down to tiebreakers at the end of the season, the odds are that the Jets will most likely be there competing against us.
 
i hope our team doesnt have the same mindset as miamian cuz it sounds like he is worried about the jests...we r more talented and should rip them apart as ling as jay doesnt throw ints...or mcknight doesnt drop passes into the dbs arms!!!

We've had more talent than them for several years and anyway it's not a matter of fear, but covering your bases.
