There seems to be alot of talk about the O-Line every practice especially that right side. All we hear is how several plays in a row the defender on that side get a free shot on our QB, which hopefully will be fixed by the season opener.

Now through the practices and such there have been good reports on Murtha, and Graner is versatile linemen Willis has experience though is coming off a major injury that caused him to loose a season and Colombo well is a Cowboy toss away and we seem to love those.

So I ask you this based on what you have seen and heard or just blind speculation, who is the RT week one of the season?

Me personally think it will be Murtha, he is having a good camp and if he can keep it up during preseason on the left side i see no reason after Big Jake gets back he cant move over to RT and do his thing over there. He will help solidify the book ends while Vern and Pouncey solidify the middle and we shall see if Jerry or Incog gets that last spot on the line.
 
Im willing to bet not an NFL player that will be a good starter
 
I was looking that the scrimmage pics someone posted and I can't even tell what the freak Sparano is doing to the O-line. I see Pouncey at Center, Allen Babre at LT, Berger at LG, Jerry at RG, Colombo at RT...some with Garner at LG, Carey at RG, Matt Kopa at RT...it a freakin cluster.

I'll tell you this, if Colombo starts at RT for the season opener he won't be there all year. It will be musical chairs with the O-line like last year where every spot between Long at LT and Carey at RT got switched up at some point last year.
 
they way it looks now it will be Murtha backed up by Colombo at RT
 
I believe if Murtha plays well in preseason games at RT we will have 4 of the 5 spots locked up. I heard Vern is being tried at LG which i think would be the most ideal position for him. Then you can let Incog, Garner and Jerry battle for the LG spot.

My ideal line is Long, Carey, Pouncey, Jerry, Murtha, of course this all depends on how they handle opposing defensive front 7's in preseason especially the 2nd and 3rd games where the starters will play most of the first 3 quarters
 
4 years later and the only thing set in stone is LT. These guys must think they have a 10 year contract. Some oline guru lol

If it was up to me and all players are healthy, the best O-line we could field would be LT: Jake LG: Pouncey C: Incognito RG: Carey RT: Garner. Unfortunately, I know it won't happen.
 
against the pats, i don't think its going to matter we gonna get our butts kicked anyway
