Who will be the next young quarterback to make the Super Bowl?

So with picking Johnny no-realfootball Manziel, you are picking the Browns to make the super bowl in the next 15 years? Because surely Johnny is going to land in the dog pound

hahaha Johnny Manziel took a terrible A+M team (that just entered the SEC for first year) to 2 bowl games, dont gotta be a genius to realize he is better the Tannehill

Still think Manning is gonna torch there asses.

You might be right.

Now that YPA kings Andy Dalton and Colin Kaepernick have been eliminated from the postseason due to their horrible teams and coaching letting them down in the clutch, a B-team scrub like Peyton is due for a win.

being a Phins fan too, i dont think we can really bag on the Browns like we are some dynamic organization, how many playoff games have we won since 2000? Probably the same number as the Browns

Charlie Whitehurst led a clemson to bowl games too, doesn't mean he was going to be a elite nfl qb

Also college success never equals nfl success.

Never has never will.

Kaepernick is the product of not developing a guy in the pocket first. Tannehill is being developed in the pocket first. Just watch, in the long run it'll pay dividends.

Id take a few roll outs and get to the playoffs without fully developing him in the pocket...he has ZERO long ball ability...

As a "pocket qb" Kaep had a horrible game. His legs are amazing, but his reads and accuracy are bad.

I though Wilson played like **** too. I also think Manning is going to light Seattle up.

Seattle has the best D in the NFL and the best pass D in recent memory. We'll see how Manning does, but I think Manning will struggle. Denver lucked out with the Talib injury, but Seattle's D is a completely different animal. Unless Wilson completely botches it, I don't see Denver competing with Seattle. Kaepernick's athleticism is the only thing that kept that game close. When Seattle puts pressure on Manning with 4 pass rushers, he won't be able to use his legs. He'll duck and cover.

There is a huge difference between Miami & Browns.. not just history either. The owner of the browns is so confused on what he wants to do with the team.. let's hire a coach, fire him first chance we get because we didn't surround his scheme with proper players, hire a GM that spent so long on NFL network seeming smart that he is exactly what he frowned upon on tv(being so in love with certain players that you ignore building the rest of the team). Browns do ok for 2-3 games, then it's a sinking ship, where as Miami either starts bad and then gives spark of hope for a let down or starts good only to have a mini wreck followed by small glimpse of hope for the following season. Either way, putting Johnny on that list was clearly a troll move so well played. If Johnny hit the league 3-4 years ago, maybe he would be in a superbowl but by the time browns draft him and then a few years of subpar record while they build around him, defenses will have mastered this new age offense & we will be watching a new offense and protypical QB to run said offense emerge

Manning has no problem against the blitz, he's not Tom Brady in the regard. Denver has better talent at the WR position, D. Thomas is a top 5 WR, who can get open in Sherman. They have too many weapons for Seattle to cover IMO. Manning is too good this season to not play a helluva game super Sunday.

Seattle doesn't blitz. They get pressure with 4, and they take away the BS underneath passes that Manning thrives on. Terrible match up for Denver.

Sounds familiar.

=( Yes. But at least Ross had no knowledge of football in real football terms & bought a team Miami... instead of in Ohio. Nah, I can't even bag on Browns tbh, their fans show up in all weather types and still rock that place out

So what's the difference between the two organizations? What have we won lately? Didnt we just fire our GM and O-Coordinator and keep our lame duck HC? And then signed an O-Coordinator without even grabbing a GM? Sounds pretty backwards to me dont ya think? Anyways, Ryan Tannehill is a mediocre QB just like Henne, its same soup but a different burner!

No patience. Example. Carol went 7-9 his first two seasons in Seattle. Philbin goes 7-9, 8-8, and Dolphin fans scream Fire Him!

This game is patience, learning, and timing. It'll come.
