Who will be the next young quarterback to make the Super Bowl?

Oh im sorry, because im not upbeat about another useless offseason where we will probably overpay for FA's and continue to draft Jonny Martins and Ryan Tannehills over Alshon Jeffery's and R.Wilson's and Nick Foles' of the world, living in Philly as a Phins fan, let me be the bearer of bad news for all of you, Foles is miles ahead of Tannehill at the QB position, the guy ran an offense he never ran in his life and had 27 TD's to 2 ints, Tannehill had multiple 2 INT games this year

Well that's nice. Personally, I'm sorry that you can't put together a coherent sentence with a subject and a predicate without turning it into a run-on cluster****.

So 2 years in, we haven't reached SB like Luck or Foles has.. oh wait... but let's tear down the whole team & start over! Let's fire joe mid season of this upcoming year, fire whatever GM we got because he kept joe half a season too long, bring in new schemes, new players, give it 2 years and then redo it again. There is a reason we have become subpar...people like you that want a rebuild every year.

Carroll has a clear philosophy - centered around a fast, physical brand of football. If you have the tools to pull it off, given time, it'll work. I was for hiring Philbin, but I'm still not sure about his philosophy (in terms of how it translates to the field).

Really, you don't see it? It seems pretty clear to me. I believe his core principle is passer rating differential and that the team will live or die by how the QB plays. If the QB plays well the rest of the teams job is just to not blow the game by doing something stupid. So far when Tannehill does play well (passer rating of 88+) we've won every game but one, this is a very good and comparable with the great head coaches. The question is how do we get Tannehill to play well more often, is it coaching, talent or does it just come down to Tannehill himself?

EDIT: Disregard, I missed the important bit at the end "in terms of how it translates to the field." That I agree with and I can't wait to find out.

Joe Philbin should be evaluated on his merits as a coach. His merits as a coach should not include 'a bunch of other coaches we had didn't work out either so why not just stick with this one?'

Didn't say I was ok with it, simply said I know what we are atm/have been. You are the one quickly turning a "man this sucks, 2 years in and we aren't in the SB with RT at qb" cheek. I will continue to respond rather you are trolling or not because in the long run, I will love to see you come back in year 2 of Johnny in the NFL and tell me how he compared to RT, henne... no wait, let's use your standards.. of Wilson(which btw gets his a** covered by an amazing d 75% of the season) & Nick Foles of the '13 season

Please dont make me compare RT to Foles, cuz you will look dumb by the end of it! Know what? I will gladly do it anyways! RT (this year) was in year 2 with the same coaching staff and system(hell, his OC was his college coach) and mustered up a fabulous 3,913 yards with 24 TD's to 17 ints...good enough for a rating of 81.7...ok now time for Foles, in year 2 with a complete new regime in a system everyone and their mothers said he would fail in!!! How did he respond you ask? Oh, with 2,891 yards with 27 TD's to 2 ints...good enough for a 119.2 rating! So tell me Mr. Genius..Who is the better QB?

Well Mr. Troll, since we can compare two different team schemes, let's flop those team o-lines, then what would those stats be? Go ahead and try to make that one seem like I blame it all on the o-line.. I don't. RT missed some open throws and had time to throw at times. Let's even really reach here, what teams did Foles play against? Oh he put up great numbers against a Dallas D? Well dang, let's trade everything we have for him not now! He did ok the giants aging d? Got me again, let's trade for this kid and sign him to a 90 year 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 contract and also promise to bottle his sperm, let our wive's use the sperm to give birth to baby Foles' everywhere so we can continue to have him on our team.

I didn't say RT was better then foles, didn't say it other way around either. You will see & use what you want out of Foles, RT, my posts, etc.. Just because you buy into a scheme or player or anything that has become something that everyone should look at and say "that was impressive" doesn't mean you can use it defend a boneheaded remark you started this with by saying Johnny M would win a superbowl

Heres the bottom line good ole' pal....Foles was in post-season play by winning games and not making bone-headed mistakes, RT was at home watching Foles cuz of bone-headed mistakes(he wasn't being pressured at all against NYJ, which was in every term of the word a "WINNABLE" game and that's not opinion, thats a fact buddy! Take your delusions elsewhere

And please, remember my words, Manziel will be a starter in this league much longer then Tannehill, RT has a big burden this year in his make or break year, he better lead us to the playoffs, or he will end up backing up Manziel in Cleveland! BOOM!

So Foles single handly took the Eagles to playoffs? No help from Desean being an amazing player that can shake michael j fox in his boots, no help from Mccoy turning a check down pass into a 80yrd play? You are missing the overall point here *PAL* ... yes a great QB can get you places, but it doesn't matter if other pieces aren't there. What did Dan do with our team besides keep us fans cheering while we still didn't win a SB? But nope you're right, it's all on RT, all on his shoulders. He was out there missing tackles, missing FGs, dropping INTs, breaking 30yrd runs only to have the ball knocked out from a 400lb linemen, allowing rushers to come in untouched, etc.. You make it seem like I'm here saying you are dead wrong RT is the next coming of god and will put up manning type numbers, when in reality, I'm saying it's been 2 years, give it time & when you want to fanboy Johnny football up, I asked you to compare his NFL numbers to this qb we have that you are dead set on being a bust

As a "pocket qb" Kaep had a horrible game. His legs are amazing, but his reads and accuracy are bad.

I though Wilson played like **** too. I also think Manning is going to light Seattle up.

Wilson played well against that D, not a lot of passing yards but his passer rating was 104. People often mistake Pete Caroll's conservative gameplan with Wilson playing poorly just because he isn't putting up gaudy stats. But whenever I've seen the Seahawks get down to the point where they are forced to unleash the beast he's almost always delivered.

And not every QB has to be Wilson, Vick, Foles, Manning type of numbers... as a unit, the Ravens won with Joe, the pats won it with Brady at the start of it all, etc.. If you're banking on Johnny being the savior of the Browns, there is not point in me trying to hold discussion with you, you need far more help then a rant & ramble on a website forum

The next will be Luck, possibly Newton. In his first year Luck lead his team to the playoffs one and done, year 2 they won the first round and lost in the second - he is gaining VALUABLE playoff experience and he's only been in the league 2 years.

I don't care about paper stats.

Wilson was pretty meh

Guy said Henne tried to makes plays while Tannehill just stood there. Lol what a joke.
