Emotion such as the Jets playing free and easy.
Sounds like a description of a box of tampons.
Emotion such as the Jets playing free and easy.
Computers do not factor in human emotion. Emotion such as the Fins playing tight and the Jets playing free and easy.
Yes and losing as a 75% favorite doesn't necessarily have anything to do with player emotions, **** happens. If you don't believe that cut a deck of cards and have your wife chop your junk off if the card is a diamond, all of the coaching in the world won't change the fact that it WILL be a diamond 25% of the time.
Huh?
Diamonds, cut off junk, coaching....I am confused. Anyways, lets see how close the computers are on Sunday at 4pm.
Only the Fins can take 50% plus Vegas odds to make the playoffs and blow it.
Any given Sunday, but I like Miami to win this one. Here's why:
The Jets are 1-6 on the road and 6-2 at home. Miami is one of the two teams that beat them at home -- in fact, dismantled them at home. New York has been blown out in most of those road losses, too. Rex Ryan has fared poorly against Miami in his head coaching career, and particularly against Joe Philbin. The Dolphins have stomped Rex's Jets twice under Philbin and took them to overtime (thanks Carp) in the other meeting.
I don't think the Jets can exploit Miami's weaknesses the same way that the Bills did.
Objectively, I agree with the 27-13 or 27-10 predictions. Everything in this matchup is in Miami's favor. However, I will not discount a chokejob here -- I will not be surprised if the Jets somehow pull out a win. To lose this game would be the most Dolphins thing imaginable.
